I’ve got a lot of news to share today. First up, I have movie news! Amazon Studios and Nicole Kidman’s Blossom Films have partnered to produce a movie based on My Lovely Wife. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this! Read more about it on Deadline.com:

This is a big week for me because I will be celebrating the launch of the My Lovely Wife paperback on Tuesday, March 3. Be sure and check out the redesigned cover, now with a black background. The folks at Berkley Publishing did an amazing job on this cover!

Next, I’m going on tour to celebrate the paperback release, starting with Books & Books in Coral Cables, Florida on March 3. Very excited about this, so if you are in the area come on by!

On Wednesday, March 4, I will be up in Chicago at Lake Forest Bookstore. And the best news is I will be with Mary Kubica and Lori Radar-Day! I am really looking forward to spending time with these amazing women and this will be such a fun event.

Then on Thursday, March 5, I will be at An Unlikely Story in Plainsville, MA with Hallie Ephron. Cannot wait for this one! I just finished reading her latest book, Careful What You Wish For, and I loved it.

Next week I’ve got two more dates, first at The Novel Neighbor in Webster Groves, MO on Monday, March 9. Finally, I’ll be at Magic City Books in Tulsa, OK on Tuesday, March 10. If you are near any of these areas, come say hello!

Last but not least, there is a Goodreads Giveaway for He Started It going on right now. My second book is coming out April 28, so this is a chance to win an advanced copy. Over the past couple of months, I’ve received some wonderful reviews of this book from Publishers Weekly, Kirkus, and a starred review from Booklist. In my last blog post, I talked about some 2020 books that I’ve read and loved. Now I want to talk about some books that I haven’t read yet but I want to!

1. The Girl from Widow Hills by Megan Miranda. She is one of my go-to authors and I can’t wait for her new one.

2. And Now She’s Gone by Rachel Howzell Hall. I will read anything she writes!

3. The Perfect Guests by Emma Rous. I loved her first book, The Au Pair, and I’m really looking forward to her second book.

4. Stories We Never Told by Sonja Yoerg. She never disappoints, and I’m ready for the next one.

5. Stranger in the Lake by Kimberly Belle. I’ve read all her books and don’t plan on stopping!

6. Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier. I have heard SO much about this book and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

7. The Operator by Gretchen Berg. Love this book cover, love the description.

8. The Mall by Megan McCafferty. As someone who grew up in shopping malls, I am looking forward to many nostalgic moments in this book!

9. Haven’t They Grown by Sophie Hannah. Her book Keep Her Safe hooked me and now I have to read all her books.

10. Whatever Gillian Flynn writes and please please let it be this year. A girl can dream, right?

This is only the beginning of my list…more to come soon!

First, I hope everyone is having a happy and wonderful holiday season--regardless of what you celebrate or who you spend it with!

As this decade comes to a close, a lot of people are taking stock of what they’ve accomplished or are grateful for. It’s rare that I look back. My nature is to look forward, always, to the next thing. Specifically, to books!

I have had the pleasure of reading a number of 2020 books already, and here are some of my favorites:

I hope you will check some of these out and see if they are for you! I enjoyed every one of them. There are so many great books out there, I only wish I had time to read more of them.
