Summer Update/ PRIDE

Hello everyone and Happy PRIDE MONTH!

Wow, it's already been a busy year of writing for me and I hope you all are enjoying what I've released so far. In my personal life, as some of you may or may not know, my mother in law was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. My sister in law just passed away from it in November so the whole family is just shaken to its core.

I hope you have stayed well during the pandemic. I live an isolated life normally, so I don't venture out except to go to my mother in law's house or to a tiny store to get essentials. I have a very special book coming out on Friday, June 26th and all of the proceeds from that book will be donated to help fund pancreatic cancer research. It's called Toby's Wish and I want to thank everyone who pre-ordered and for donating on Facebook; it means so much.

Also, on that note, Toby is currently in audiobook production with the wonder Kevin Earlywine; he's done books for Noah Harris and has the sweetest voice. It was a challenge to find someone brave enough to narrate it due to heavy subject but he did. I'm looking very forward to both the audiobook and Kindle release.

In July, I'm going to be taking it easy but I do have several books planned including the release of The Knobs! If you'd like to get more updates on a daily basis please join my Facebook group, Sanderfer's Socialites. I'm usually there multiple times a day.

May your summer be filled with love and blessings. Please stay safe and help stop the spread of coronavirus by wearing a mask. It's literally the least we can do.

2020 Greetings/ Spring Update

Hello all and thank you so much for following me here on Goodreads! It's been a busy year so far with a few releases already. Diary of a Baker's Son, The Mechanic's Fix, and Love Like Leather are all available now on amazon.

Now, as some of you know last year was a rough one for Will and I. I almost lost him to a superflu and stoke back in February, so I'm holding my breath and trying now to panic even if he has the sniffles this year. He seems to be doing well, although he suffered some memory and mobility loss.

We lost his nephew Christopher to an overdose back in June, then his sister finally lost her battle to pancreatic cancer in November, a week before Thanksgiving. I chose not to make a big fuss over Christmas this past year and submerged myself into writing.

We have a new website, sanderferbooks.com; so feel free to pop on over and take a look. Also, if you are not already a member of my Facebook group, Sanderfer's Socialites; come on over! It's the place where I am the most. We have lots of fun everyday and over the summer I have a lot of great new books and events planned.

Hope this year is treating you well so far! With all of my love -Daniel

Summer Update

Hello, dahlings! It's been a while. 2019 has been an interesting year so far. Back in April, my husband William contracted a super flu that ended us up in ICU for a month while he was in a coma. He recovered and is doing well despite having a stroke while in the coma. It left me more appreciative than ever of life and for those close to us.

His sister, who has been battling pancreatic cancer sold the house she had lived in for thirty years, and in the midst of this, her son was found dead at thirty years old from a drug overdose. So, I took a step back and reflected on life. You never stop grieving after losing a family member; you just figure out how to live life without them.

For those of you who didn't know, I used to weigh five hundred pounds and over the past two years managed to lose two hundred and seventy of them. I cannot tell you how much it means to me that you read and enjoy my work. Every character I give birth two has a little piece of myself.

That being said, I have spent the Summer working my fingers to the bone rewriting and editing old works to give you as the reader a better experience. In case you missed it, I released a short novella about my life back in May titled Bygone Persuasion; available on Amazon.

In August we have several exciting things happening. My first official new release since The Outdoorsman's Son will be dropping on the fifth. Also, I will be re-releasing Runaway Nightingale and Everlonging Desires. Both books were ripped apart at the seems and edited, and over twenty thousand words were added to each story to give the characters a more dimension. I hope you will continue to follow me as I grow as an author.

Love and Blessings,
Daniel Elijah Sanderfer

AUTUMN UPDATE

Hello Dahlings!

It's been a long, hot summer here in Indiana. I have released a lot of fabulous books so be sure to check them out. This month has brought you the sequel to the If You Seek Jamie series and the long-awaited fifth book from Magnolia Ridge.

As some of you may know my husband had been battling with many health issues for years. He underwent an extensive surgery on the 11th to remove a large bone spur that was cutting into his spinal cord. He is now home and recovering from surgery. Which means time to get back to work on writing more wonderful stories for you guys to read.

We hope to be getting some better promo out there and hope you will continue to grow with us. Thank you for your love and support. Also, we have an interview coming up with the famous J Scott Coatsworth on the Queer Romance Ink Facebook page on October 31st; where we will be discussing my series, Magnolia Ridge. I will be doing a giveaway, and telling you all about how the series was created.

EVERLONGING DESIRES OUT MONDAY

Hello Dahlings!

Woah! July just flew by, and we are finishing up the month strong. As many of you know my book Everlonging Desires drops on Monday, and I am super excited!

This book is very special to me because it deals with a lot of complicated issues that sometimes we don't think about as couples. We take for granted sometimes our significant other is always going to be there.

I wanted to express the trauma that people go through when they lose the person they had planned on spending the rest of their life with. Most times later in life, we are unable to move on with our lives in fear of disrespecting or replacing that person.

Our best friend had lost her husband two years ago and they were everything to each other. We should all strive to be so close to our spouse, and realize that pettiness and arguments do not matter. We should embrace the time we have with them, and love without limits, because unfortunately one day for all of us, we may face this very situation.

I wanted to portray a young couple, who when faced with losing their best friend in life. This is just something we don't expect and after speaking with a man who lost his fiance in the aids crisis I was inspired to write a story of how sometimes love can strike twice.

For myself, I know there will never be anyone for me besides Willy, my husband. He is my best friend. But, being so young this man was facing a lifetime of pain and loneliness. It wasn't until he decided to grant himself closure to that painful event that he was able to love again.

I hope you will enjoy Skyler's story, and that it provokes you to think about your own relationship. Let's not be petty, who cares if he didn't bring the trash cans in, or put the dishes on the counter instead of in the sink. You are with him or her forever. Forgive and live.

With all of my Love,
Daniel Elijah Sanderfer

Summer Update

Hello dahlings! To all my friends and fans, here is what is going on behind the scenes of my author career. As you know my first book Magnolia Ridge dropped in April and with over 600 downloads. We briefly entered the top 100 Amazon best sellers list. Since it's release 2 other sequels have followed. Return to Magnolia Ridge is so exciting. An emotional roller coaster for the reader. With my first book the romance was quick but focused more on our main protagonists in the Magnolia series, Levi and Travis. I love those guys so much. A lot of readers have told me they feel attached to them. Just like they are real people. In May we released book 3 in the series. I spent most of the moth working on my Grande Dame, Magnolia Beach which is due to release May 28th. If you have not read the other books in the series. Now is your time to catch up! I hope to be posting a lot more updates throughout the summer so please follow me and stay informed.
