Violet is the middle sister. Same as me! (and one of my daughters!) So I have some frame of reference for how that goes. LOL!
Violet has this wee chip on her shoulder and has had to wait for her chance to shine by working in a job that doesn't fill her with passion. It is still a labor of love, because she works in the café to keep her mom's dream alive and also because she promised her sisters.
She's smart and sassy and a pain in the you-know-what for the sheriff, but she has a heart of gold and an unwavering determination to fight wrong.
Tasked with cataloging a prominent citizen's treasures, Violet discovers a thief wants more than the possessions and a murder muddies the mixture further. There is far more to this mystery than she first thought, and everyone is under suspicion.
