Taken by the Victim Mentality

#MercifulPouringGrace

God loves the little children. That is why they say kids are resilient. They have no fault in the bad circumstances and hardships encountered, therefore God showers them with His graces full of mercy. As such we don’t suffer much until later in life. Partly because the world sees us differently and we are treated like walking on eggshells. We are told in gestures and words we should feel and act a certain way. We are conditioned to believe the past effects us and has more power over us than our mighty God. The biggest desire of most everyone born disabled is to be treated like everyone else. While many are well intentioned in being more careful and kind with those abused, it makes us feel like a victim. When those that have not experienced it and don’t understand, make it a bigger deal than we feel it is, more harm than good is done. Some claim and believe that, should we not be suffering, we are avoiding feelings or in denial, insinuating something is wrong. Feeling broken had me in depression for many years until I realized it was futile hurting over things no longer happening. God said leave the past behind, I make you knew. The Bible also states not to dwell on the past. knowing this earlier would have spared a lot of heartache.

Had I known I was just as capable and loved, I would not have made so many mistakes or wasted so much time. Had I known that I am not damaged goods I would not have loathed myself and in the process hurt others. God is hope and the victim mentality diminishes that probability by often thinking we can’t. If we weren’t judged and labeled we wouldn’t justify improper behavior and hinder progress. If others believed in us we would have been more likely to do the same. If we knew the truth, we wouldn’t give in to Satan’s deception and live a lie. Thank heaven, God was with us all along full of compassion and love, opened our eyes and gave us strength to carry on. So grateful Jesus helped us channel our struggles towards a purpose that helps others and gave meaning to every trial. We greatly appreciate our sweet Lord who gave us new direction and healed our souls. Who lovingly saw the lost and wounded just as precious as all his children and fervently took us under his wings. From Victim, we became Victors through our loving Holy Father who had it in his plan since before our birth. Never will we return to feeling like a victim once we learned suffering is a part of life. To be with Christ we should gladly embrace the cross, which leads to bliss in paradise with our creator. He who became, for our sake, the ultimate spotless victim, turned greatest Victory. 😌❤️🙏 11/24/21 #Godisthecure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood

To Have Compassion

#mercifulpouringgrace

Be quick to forgive and patient, even if it takes long. Understand that when challenged, it’s because Satan wants to create conflict. We should resist falling into that trap. He will use our loved ones to push our buttons by their actions and words. Sometimes continuously, so we can pray out loud and invoke the name of Jesus crying out for his help. But stay steadfast to the precept above them all, that is love and requires understanding of which we pray for daily.Compassion entails being kind and calm in the midst of a storm. It means teaching how to improve by growing closer to God who corrects our ways, rather than making them dependent by doing it for them. Always help if asked even if we feel they should know better. It means to forgive without limit, even if it has been years. We bear it all, endure anything, and are relentless in the hope we find in God. We put aside our needs, to help theirs. We do what it takes to help them feel understood, consoled, and loved. Be willing to expose evil for their own good in a gentle way. Assure them you are the one who will not change, but grow and always stay.

Give them hope for a better tomorrow by exemplifying that Jesus is the best way, and be the one who brightens their everyday. Have compassion for the blind and those astray; it’s not a happy place. We all know, we have been there. Share the love, and show them how true peace is only found once in a relationship with God. At best, for them, always pray. 11/17/21 #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #GodisTheCure #Godisgood 😌❤️🙏

Love Thy Enemy

#MercifulPouringGrace

I don’t believe God said that because it is good practice to love evil people. Even one of the psalms says; “Lord, I hate those who hate You.” It is because God promotes peace, and He knew how quickly we would be to misjudge a situation or person. We don’t know that person’s heart, intention, and circumstance. Be careful when we think we know things we really don’t for sure.  His own people considered Jesus the enemy to the point of being crucified by His own creation. We can cripple the good guy when thinking we know better and misjudge them by assuming. We can miss saving a life when blaming the wrong person. Rather than judge, which we are not supposed to do, we should allow God to be the Judge. It is not good practice to harbor hatred, anger, or suspicion in our hearts, as they deplete our peace of mind. We should approach every encounter with an open mind and compassion.  Mary Magdalene was almost killed with rocks when Jesus intervened. Only He knew she would be a Saint. We would think a murderer is a bad guy, especially if he killed many Christians, and he became Saint Paul, among my favorites Saints. How often do we regret the times we were wrong because we forget God said; do not Judge. How easily we give in to anger when judging others who don’t wear a mask or simply for the color of their skin. That is Satan scheming division . Obeying God promotes Unity.  Those accusing are usually the ones at fault, or are at least wrong to be pointing fingers and passing judgment. It would be good to ask God for wisdom and clarity in all situations as the enemy is more clever than us with deception. It all has to come back to God’s word, and revert always to the Bible. God is truth, freedom, and the only way to peace, not obtained when judging others by not loving our enemies for the love of God, who truly loves us unconditionally.  Our king, Savior, and redeemer who forever will be praised. 😌❤️🙏 11/16/21 #Godisthecure #Godisgood #InspiredByTheHolyGhost

Following Christ Entails Many Things

#MercifulPouringGraceIt requires always doing the right thing and putting God first. It is about loving God, which means we should believe everything He said, have hope in Him, endure what may come, and bear the hardships we deal with. We abide by His every word, to have mercy, forgive and love unconditionally. Also be vigilant about Satan’s deception so that we don’t become the source of our suffering. We should put our emotions aside and use our logic that God’s word is true wisdom. God said bad company corrupts, and should your right hand cause you to sin, cut it off. Evil works on our weakness. If we are good hearted we can easily be manipulated by way of Mercy. Keep in mind there are several ways to be merciful without jeopardizing our lives. But God’s word can be clearly understood that’s it’s one way. If we play with fire, we will get burned, and we cannot condone our allow evil to enter our lives. Reducing exposure to evil minimizes suffering and hardships, just as no sin means no demon. Being true to Christ is obeying, even if it hurts. Not all right decisions are easy or desirable. God shows us how to live right and warns us of dangers, even when we don’t see them. To be His disciple, we must share His cross and conform to His precepts at all personal cost every time. Learn to let go and let God. Allow Him to work His miracles in our lives, and give Him all the glory. 11/10/21 #Godisthecure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood 😌❤️🙏

Seeing is believing

#MercifulPouringGraceSeeing is believing. God is more than a feeling or is not a feeling. These are common themes. We see God in the transformation of people. In the innocence of kids and their pure heart. In the miracles experienced. In the unwavering faith, undeterred or affected in the face of great tribulation and sacrifice. When we see the good that comes out of what is wrong. In the great works inspired and produced. In the amazing artwork of this world God created; the sky, the sea, the paradise-like nature and all animals. Saints have actually seen the image of heavenly beings. Most of us don’t literally see Christ, because God requires faith from pretty much all of us. The version of God we have today is the Holy Ghost, as such a spirit is invisible anyway. Certainly God can be a feeling. Don’t discount those moments we get goosebumps when thinking or talking about God or something good, it could very much be God showing his face. Or the moments we feel his love and are so moved to cry in awe and happiness. We can feel God in moments of distress when the inner peace surrounds us. In the comfort of an embrace even if it’s a Shih-tzu. I am pretty sure God uses our dog. It’s not coincidental dog spelled backwards is God since dogs happen to be the most humble animal. The times we feel light as if walking on clouds during prayer. That grateful feeling that brings tears to our eyes when acknowledging God’s mercy. When we feel the Joy of noticing our appreciation for our blessings. The peace felt when He plays the song we need to hear. Most of all the confident feeling knowing our omnipotent God and father, is always near. 11/09/21 #Godisthecure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood 😌❤️🙏

Pride

#MercifulPouringGraceIt happens to us all, even saints suffered from pride. Pride is anytime we think we know better than God. We often forget to involve God and take matters into our own hands. Pride is destructive and it divides. If we only knew how many different ways we exercise pride. When we don’t adhere to God’s word, it’s pride and we serve the enemy who thrives on it. Anytime we break any of the 10 commandments, like when we deny our mistakes, claiming we can do no wrong, when God said not to lie, it’s pride. Every time we argue with or don’t believe our spouse and loved ones, it’s pride, for God clearly said that love means believe all things. When we don’t listen to our spouse, we disagree with God who said listen to your spouse. When we excuse, explain or justify a behavior for which we are sorry for, we are prideful, because God said be humble and self-preservation is putting ourselves first, not last. When we get angry, we forget that God said be slow to anger. If we don’t forgive, we ignore that God said have mercy as I have for you. God said expose Evil and have nothing to do with it. We think we know better and can outsmart evil, or justify it by handing out Bible verses or dressing up as saints and angels, unknowingly playing along and not exposing the evil, as we do on Halloween. When we take our blessings for granted, we aren’t grateful and don’t put God first, it’s pride thinking we deserve it and don’t realize how easily we can lose it all. When we demonstrate a skewed view of things that foment hatred and division as in CRT, we go against God who said blessed are the peacemakers. When we give in to fear, as we did with the masks and covid pandemic, we don’t trust God who said have courage, I am with you. If we choose not to endure, embrace the cross, complain, and try to handle things ourselves, we think we are more capable than God. When we are not kind to each other and charitable, we think we are better than listening to God who said love one another and treat each other as you would like them to do for yourself. When we don’t abide by God’s conditions for living, we are allowing pride to minimize the sacrifice God made to save our souls. We must prioritize God in everything we do. Think and act only in ways that are pleasing to him. Follow his every word and live by it, if we are to avoid pride. Pride is Satan’s tool to separate us from God and goes against love. God is love, and resisting pride is a way to show him our love who is all good and deserving of it. Loving God is our very purpose for living. 😌❤️🙏 11/08/21 #Godisthecure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood

Humility

#MercifulPouringGraceWhat is it to be humble and how is it important? Humility means we acknowledge we don’t have everything figured out but a lot still to learn. It means we are willing to loose the argument to win over love. It helps us acknowledge our smallness in the greater scheme of things and how dependent we are on God. We don’t assume we know, instead we ask. We don’t think we are smarter than evil, we can outsmart the Devil or we know a better way than God’s word. We pray for wisdom and God’s constant help. We apologize regardless of how we feel about it. We value those we love more than ourselves. Treat everyone with respect and dignity even when they challenge us. We accept with peace and serenity being misjudged, humiliated or hated. We don’t feel we deserve better when things don’t go our way or when they go wrong. When life disappoints, we look to what we could have done better and how did we fall short. We listen to adversity and keep an open mind unless proven different. We choose to always believe all things from those we love. We treat others with love the way God does with us. We make ourselves last every given opportunity for glorifying God is more important than self gratification or preservation. We need God for everything, ask his involvement in anything and realize we are nothing without Him. Hoping to be humble enough to see the face of God in all that happens and every person. Humility is complete obedience to God’s word and living his way. Humility is true success if our priority is peace because humility is unconditional love, seen perfectly in Mary and best exemplified by Jesus, our God.11/03/21 😌❤️🙏 #GodisTheCure #InspiredByTheHolyGhost #Godisgood
