A first-time author, I've been married to my wife over forty years. We have two grown children and seven grandchildren. I grew up outside of Detroit and began bagging groceries in a grocery store while in high school. After college, I moved to Columbus, Ohio where met my wife and our children were born.

Following grocery industry trends, we moved to Cincinnati where I finished my career as president of a large food broker focused on sales and marketing solutions for a national grocery chain and my clients' many consumer brands.

Retired, I now enjoy playing golf, clinging tightly to my grandchildren and all their activities. I enjoy reading, many different genres of music, writing, and cooking.

I was thinking this story might help those around me better understand what it was like for a young father and his young family to live through this very stressful time.
Picking up on some thoughts left over from a younger time, I just began the process to finish that story. (less)
