Whatever you are not changing you're choosing. ~Laurie Buchanan

Here we are in 2025, let's take a moment to reflect on the incredible possibilities that lie ahead. What choices have been weighing on your heart that it might be time to release? What positive changes could you envision bringing into your life?

It's important to remember that taking meaningful action can nurture real transformation, while simply reacting can often leave us feeling stuck.

Please think about the areas where you'd like to cultivate more joy. Perhaps write down the dreams and aspirations that fill you with hope and inspiration.

There is so much potential for growth and happiness out there; you truly deserve every bit of it!

Love and blessings

Embarking on the Journey of 2025

New Year, New Beginnings: Embarking on the Journey of 2025

“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.” ~Seneca

Achieving balance within ourselves greatly influences how our external world presents itself. Symbolically, our physical bodies represent parts of our stories that we may not have previously acknowledged or understood. For example, the right hip embodies our drive to take action and move forward, while the left hip highlights the importance of considering the bigger picture before forging ahead.

Sometimes, becoming aware of what has hindered us from embracing our potential sheds light on past patterns that no longer serve us. Acknowledging what we have experienced and deciding we no longer wish to carry these burdens can help us dissolve the weight of the past, allowing our innate gifts to emerge and set us free.

Recently, I walked through a gate that swung open in both directions. I pulled it back toward me to enter, while the gentleman I was with pushed it forward. We both made it to the other side, but he paused to ask if I noticed how I passed through the gate.

This moment has stayed with me and prompted me to reflect on how I navigate through life. This time of year, often encourages us to contemplate our journeys while considering our aspirations for the future.

As I enter the new year, I am choosing to move forward with fewer hesitations. I want to make 2025 a year of letting go of the ways I have held myself back so that I can embrace my more creative and vibrant self, breathing new life into areas that yearn to emerge.

Join me as we embark on this journey into 2025, bringing our beautiful, courageous hearts and purposeful passion as we present our best and brightest selves.

I hope to see you all in the New Year, either via Zoom (for those far away) or in person in Santa Monica, Sonoma, and Santa Barbara. I will also be at Yoga Soup in Santa Barbara for another breath circle on January 9th, and for a class and meditation on Understanding the Chakra System on January 25th.

Sending love, blessings, and the happiest New Year to all!

Embracing the Magic of Unexpected Joy!

The holidays evoke a mix of feelings for everyone. While some may find this time challenging, others experience an overflow of joy. I cherish the moments I spend with children, even if only briefly. They share their gifts with the brightest exuberance and without attachments to outcomes. This is the essence of good tidings of joy that emerge when we let go of our expectations. Embracing the unexpected reveals that the magic of the holiday season lies not in perfection but in the variety of experiences we create together.

Maybe this holiday season, we let go of strict expectations, allowing joy to guide us, and watch how the moments we never planned for become our most cherished memories. Expecting nothing and staying open to everything encourages us to remain open and reduce our desires and expectations based on what we know or have experienced. This shift can help us avoid judgment and, consequently, disappointment.  By focusing on this festive season, we can enhance our joy through gratitude.

Simply recognizing what we value can enrich our lives and positively affect those around us, strengthening the seasonal spirit. Such instances of openness allow us to appreciate even the smallest miracles. With open hearts ready to embrace the unexpected, let’s celebrate the season and uncover the joy waiting for us.

Love and blessings,

Regina

Happy Thanksgiving

Taking time for ourselves helps us enjoy more fulfilling interactions with those around us. Thanksgiving, in essence, is a moment to reflect on both giving and receiving.

We all deeply desire a connection from a place of wholeness rather than separation. Let us strive to keep our cup full so that gratitude can flow effortlessly into all aspects of life.

When we feel whole within ourselves, we harmonize with the universal web of life, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Love and blessings to all,

Regina

Embracing Change: A Time for Letting Go

There's a story in every falling Leaf...

~As the vibrant colors of autumn envelop us, nature prepares to shed its beauty and gracefully welcome the end of its time on Earth. This season signifies a period of letting go, releasing what no longer serves its purpose in this lifetime.

During this poignant season, I find myself contemplating my mother's declining health. In letting go, we may encounter aspects of ourselves that we have yet to fully, embrace as souls. These unresolved emotions may manifest physically, as our bodies have a remarkable way of communicating with us. If we can surrender and release these burdens, we can allow all the stories to be set free.

While we acknowledge the forthcoming sorrow, let's celebrate the present and embrace the unknown. Allowing ourselves to both receive and release is an integral part of our energy system as we navigate life's currents.

Accepting the inevitability of change as part of our journey is crucial for spiritual growth, albeit challenging. It's a profound act of love and compassion to hold space for others during these times.

Wishing everyone a tranquil journey as we release what no longer serves us and surrender to the encompassing energy of love in this beautiful season of Autumn.

Love and blessings,

Regina
