Clavel Nelson was born on a wonderful summer day in the beautiful Island of Jamaica. She became a registered nurse in 1991 and later earned her Masters Degree from Rutgers College of Nursing (Newark) in 2002, and her Doctorate Degree from the University of South Alabama in 2014. She always knew she loved writing but her busy life kept getting in the way. Several years ago she started writing her first book and despite many interruptions, she was determined to finish it. Finally, her dream was realized and she published her first book entitled Centered Peace: How to Get it and Keep it.
