Guess who's in quarantine...
Well it was bound to happen, but I was exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID. I'm currently on Day 11 and looking forward to getting out of isolation at home. I'm "camping" on our ottoman bed in the sunroom.
My mom asked the obvious question: Why aren't you in the bunkhouse? Well, we considered it, but if I'm out there I'm totally alone. At least in the sunroom I can see into the living area and can even watch TV/Movies with the hubby and our granddaughter. Separate but together.
The good news is, I haven't had any COVID symptoms and I've gotten to get some extra writing and reading time in!

What's in your cup?
The weather's getting colder and that means the perfect time to cozy up with a good book and your favorite hot beverage.
I'm a closet "trekkie" and if any of you have ever watched Star Trek The Next Generation, you know Captain Picard always orders himself a cup of "Tea. Earl Grey. Hot." So, my hot beverage of choice is a mug of Earl Grey... plus I add a packet of stevia to sweeten.

Pie or Cobbler?
I don't have a single thing against pies... I love a big slice of pecan as well as the next person... But if I'm given a choice, cobbler's my jam.
Did you know that cobbler was invented by the early American settlers who missed their English steamed puddings? They couldn't find all of the ingredients, so they improvised! And the cobbler was officially born. Those early colonists loved their juicy cobblers so much, they ate them as the first course for meals, even breakfast! I'd vote to return to that custom, wouldn't you?
Here's a list of my favorite cobblers:
Blackberry, piping hot with vanilla ice cream!
Peach cobbler, warm a la carte!
Cherry cobbler, warm with whipped cream on top!
