We have devised a plan to get to Jeric. Well, I should say Daelan came up with the idea and now I have to decide if I want to go through with it. Everyone thinks it is a bad idea, but ultimately it will be my choice if I want to lure him out in the open. I know it is the only way. I hope we can come up with a foolproof plan.

After everyone left last night, I spent more time with Daniel. He finally confided in me about his past and what he was hiding from me and the others. What I have learned about him doesn't change anything between us, but I can't say it won't change his relationship with Daelan, Xander, and Aleena if they find out. For now, it will stay between Daniel and me.

Daniel finally woke up. The remedy worked. I am so relieved to have him back. Now we need to find a way to trap Jeric Conri and stop him from hurting anyone else. I am beginning to feel like a pawn in a deadly game I don't want to play and I have the feeling it is only going to get worse.

I believe that I have found a way to wake Daniel up thanks to a dream I had last night and an unknown source leaving me a book. Daniel showed me a wildflower through my dream with him. I believe it's somehow connected to him and his current situation. After contacting Daelan, Xander, and Aleena, we have decided to make a remedy for him using this particular flower. After waiting a few hours with no results, Aleena has assured me that it can take time to work. It is a waiting game now.

After contacting Daelan and Xander, I was able to find the root cause of Daniel's current condition. It comes in the form of a young woman by the name of Aleena. Daniel is apparently under a sleeping spell that Aleena performed. She claims that she had no choice and it was the only way to save Daniel's life. Jeric Conri will pay for this. Our plan is already in motion...

I was beginning to worry about Daniel and for good reason. He never showed up to meet me the other evening after work. I tried calling him multiple times and nothing and now I know why. After the dream I had last night I feared he was in danger and the proof was placed on my front porch today. I was too late .....

I talked to Daniel last night. It was a quick conversation due to the late hour and he seemed on edge about something. He had said that he wanted to talk but wanted to wait until today to meet up after work. Lucky for me the workday went by smoothly and quickly even with my anxiety about the errand I had to run today. I went outside after work and waited for Daniel in the parking lot as was planned, but he never showed up or called. That is so unlike Daniel. I gave him all the time I had to spare, but then I had to make my way to the abandoned hospital on the outskirts of the city before sunset. I was a little leery to go inside alone and then I heard another vehicle approaching which seemed odd under the circumstances. I was relieved to see it was Xander at least until he got out of his car and approached me. I've never seen him act that way towards me before. I didn't know whether to be hurt or offended. To make a long story short I talked him into going inside with me to look around and now I wish I hadn't. What I had found only deepened my worry for Daniel. Do you think it's better to know what is coming or be clueless?

While at work today I received a manila folder with photos and printed maps with arrows pointing to different locations around the city. Some are even on the outskirts. There are even documents describing old buildings that used to be businesses that have been closed for years. After looking through these I came across one image in particular that stands out to me. It is an old abandoned hospital on the outskirts of the city. Any further out and it would be in the next county.

After work, I went by the police department to share this new information with Daelan and he assured me that the police department would handle an investigation of these locations. Suffice to say I am not one to wait around and I plan to go there tomorrow after work. This one particular location can not wait. I feel like I am being pulled towards it.

I decided to do a remake of my novel Dream to Reality back cover with a new description. I would love some feedback.

I don't believe I have met a writer that does not enjoy reading. In all honesty I don't think one can even be considered a writer if you don't enjoy reading. Whether it be fiction or nonfiction or anything in between. I feel that reading is an essential part of a writers life. How else will you hone your skill? Learning from other writers is a great tool. For me ... I have enjoyed reading from an early age and still love it. I just fine it amazing how writers can create characters and worlds that pull you into their story. If the writer is really good you become so engrossed in the story you are transported into the books story as if you are watching it unfold. I hope to someday be able to give my readers a story so engrossing that they are talking about it for days after finishing the book.

With that being said I will close for now and I try to be more diligent in posting in the future. As far as the Feb. Newsletter I will be sending that out at the first of the month and as always if you were placed on the mailing list by accident please let me know and I will remove you asap if you no longer wish to receive the monthly newsletter.

I recently purchased the book Genesis Code by Jamie Metzl. Anyone else read it? If so what are your thoughts? I will probably start reading it this weekend.
