One winter decided to write a novel. It took ten years to finish. My wife, Marian became interested about this time and began helping me rework and edit the story. For the past eight years we have attended the Jackson Hole Writers Conference and received personal attention from the authors there.
My first efforts were thrillers based in the South Atlantic during the Falklands Conflict. Perhaps they may make it into print one day, but for now they are in a drawer, silent testimony to the effort required to craft a good book.
Altar and Throne came about from suggestions given at the writers conference that I should develop character writing. My wife taught me how to turn words into emotion.
