When I go there, I would search for Gandalf, invite him over to the Shire or any other calm and peaceful place, and then smoke a pipe with his company. That would be a remarkable afternoon. Of course, I would love it if Bilbo Baggins would join too. (less)

Dear Miss Cathy,

First, I would like to apologize for this late reply; recently, everything in Beirut has been overwhelming and stressful after the explosion, and I was planning of replying earlier but I did not have the chance.
I have read your book and it was an enjoyable read, I applaud you for your lovely effort and I encourage you to keep on writing. Of course, my reviews are honest but they are not meant to discourage any writer. I highly salute you for your efforts of writing, and there is always room for improvement. Thank you for accepting my review with a high spirit.
I will certainly post the review on Goodreads and Amazon upon your request, but I must first wait for it to go live on Reedsy as the policy indicates.
I hope things are going well for you and your family. God Bless You.

Greetings,
H. A. A. Zayour (less)

The Absurd Sea of Ideology

While contemplating on the nature of belief, the ideological web which governs it becomes extremely complex at an alarmingly accelerating rate. Prima facie, belief, in essence, appears to be simple and straightforward for our minds; however, once its dimensions begin unraveling themselves, meditating on the whole notion begins to feel like a trip down the absurd alleyway. It gets even worse once t Read more of this blog post »

Sigmund Freud
“He that has eyes to see and ears to hear may convince himself that no mortal can keep a secret. If his lips are silent, he chatters with his fingertips; betrayal oozes out of him at every pore.”
Sigmund Freud, Introductory Lectures on Psychoanalysis

John Wycliffe
“The true Christian was intended by Christ to prove all things by the Word of God: all churches, all ministers, all teaching, all preaching, all doctrines, all sermons, all writings, all opinions, all practices. These are his marching orders. Prove all by the Word of God; measure all by the measure of the Bible; compare all with the standard of the Bible; weigh all in the balances of the Bible; examine all by the light of the Bible; test all in the crucible of the Bible. That which cannot abide the fire of the Bible, reject, refuse, repudiate, and cast away. This is the flag which he nailed to the mast. May it never be lowered!”
John Wycliffe

“When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left, I buy food and clothes.”
Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus
