Leap of Faith

Rowdy, meet the World
I must say that my journey from storyteller, to writer, and now to author has been a long and tumultuous path. My first book, Rowdy: Wild and Mean, Sharp and Keen, only recently made it's introduction to the world, but was born almost 20 years ago.
Rowdy has grown and developed from an end of the day story I would tell my kindergarten class into a danger filled adventure of survival and wit, spanning from the Mississippi river to Dodge City, and then further west to the hills of Lincoln, New Mexico. Stories do change over time, and Rowdy is no different, except to say that the lessons he learns and the relationships he develops transcend age. Whether you sat and listened to the early stories of Rowdy, or sit and read them today, perseverance, compassion, and simply doing what is right for yourself and for others is a code that we could all benefit from in one way or another.

If you get a chance to read a copy, or simply read an excerpt, I hope that you will let me know what you think. Most of all, I hope you enjoy what you read. A good story can draw in readers from all genres so don't let the 'western' theme keep you away.
