A great competitor to Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Twilight and Bahubali series, The Dark Light series is an epic tale about a 17 aged boy who is normal being, but the destiny has fixed something else for him. In the first book of the series 'Amethyst Heart in the City', he finds some magical books in the rugged elusive house next to his own. Then Chandrasekhar, formerly world's most powerful wizard, now retired, contacts with him through those books and calls him to the Solus jungle where he resides, as to tell him about the mystery Pratik is unaware about. The Decider, Kaal, attempts to kill him as a part of conspiracy but the officers of Magical Society foils his plan of killing the boy. Another side, a wicked cursed witch, finds that there is an element called 'Amethyst Heart', which could make her curse-free. She goes to find it. So far from another side, The Demon, Lamashma, tries to snatch the powers from a hill where Pratik intercepts his process and rescues the Hereaws, of which help Lamashma could complete his practice. So much obstacle Pratik and his uncle confronts. At the end, after so many duels and fights, Kaal plays his game and rise his Legion of Doom. This book is full of mystery and twists and turn that will make you stick with it till the end.
