‘The Witch of the Westmorland.’
Homework squared away, but I’m pretty tired.

Stuff’s come up.
Nothing bad, though. It’s mostly involving walking my kid through his homework. Sorry, folks, but this takes precedence.
Critical Drinker: K-POP DEMON HUNTERS.
He liked it, somewhat to his surprise. But I’m not. K-POP DEMON HUNTERS was quite ridiculously good, and the Critical Drinker can recognize good when he sees it. He might be a little hard to please, but that’s his privilege.

Early night tonight.
I thought about writing. And then I decided that I should instead get some sleep. Just for the sheer novelty of it all.
FrightReads in a week!
FrightReads starts Saturday, ends Sunday, looking forward to it. I’m not sure how many books I’ll be selling this go-round, but the new venue is gonna help a lot with parking, and thus hopefully foot traffic. We’ll see how it goes! I do have the new game (the Fermi Resolution Worldbook) to sell. That should help.

See you this weekend – or, if not: buy my books!

Finished with the event…
…and drinking my first beer of the weekend. I never drink during a SCA event when I’m doing Field. Too high a risk of me telling somebody Sure, go ahead and put your pavilion there. What could go wrong?
Anyway, it was a nice event. No major problems on my end, and everybody got the space they needed for their stuff. We even got the list fence on-site and then off-site without heartache, so I’m scoring it all as a solid win and I won’t have to do this job again for at least another eight months. Huzzah!
Patreon Microfiction: “High Crimes in Helltown.”
The title “High Crimes in Helltown” needs a little work. And possibly a jaundiced look at its theology. But there are possibilities there.

‘Poor Poor Pitiful Me.’
Another long day.
Hot and sunny, right up to the point where the skies opened up. I’m about two-thirds of the way through this weekend, but thankfully the last part isn’t too onerous. We just have to police the site, and get a bunch of things into the storage unit. Hopefully it’ll be straightforward.
