I posted the cover for Business Smarts and Reckless Hearts today. I just love the cover and love Fiona and Langston. This book will be live on Amazon April 5th.
Here is just a little snippet from their meeting.
Fiona straightened her shoulders and started around the counter to where Mr. Greek god sat, looking a little on the melancholy side. What could a man who looked like that, dressed in clothes that probably cost more than her car, possibly be sad about? Fiona held the tray up high, weaving around the crowded dining floor between chairs and customers as she neared Langston Wade.
It was an out-of-body experience. She felt the coffee flying off the tray. Her foot tangled in her shoestring, then her skirt, then her other foot. She tumbled toward him, silently praying she would face plant the floor and not his lap, that the coffee would hit one of the nearby old men in the coveralls and not the Greek statue dressed in a starched white shirt and charcoal gray silk tie. But… sometimes life was cruel.

Release day for Memories, Murder, and Small Town Money is finally here.
Last year around this time I decided that I wanted to try to publish one of my books. At that time I had a very rough draft of Moonlight, Murder, and Small Town Secrets. The book didn't have a name, and I wasn't even sure what Katy's name would be. That seems so odd now because Katy is Katy. She couldn't be anybody else.
But that was just a drop in the bucket of what I didn't know. I had absolutely no clue about how to write a novel, much less a mystery. Everything I knew about mysteries and how to solve them came from Scooby-Doo, Columbo, and my dear Miss Marple. And everything I knew about publishing...well, I knew absolutely zero about publishing.
So, from October to this past May I began reading everything I could get my hands on about how to write a book, how to publish a book, and how to sell a book.
Let me just say that the fact that I am sitting here today telling you about the release of book three is truly amazing to me. I can see God's hand working through the entire process because there is no way I could have done it without Him. He has brought people into my life that helped to remove every obstacle that was plopped down in my path.
I am nowhere near where I want to be with this writing thing. I want to tell stories that will always point to Christ, but in a way that is seamless and completely natural to the story-line. Stick with me. I will get there one day.

In the previous books, he was kind of doing his own thing and did not get involved in Katy's schemes unless her life was in danger.
But now he decides that he might need to keep a closer eye on his wife for her own sake.
Sometimes they work together well, and sometimes they have that Ricky and Lucy thing going on.
