FINISH STRONG

Did you have a rough month? I did :( but, you know what? There’s no time to dwell on a missed opportunity or worry about what I should’ve done or said, beating myself up & making myself miserable about my mistakes. That doesn’t work. So will take notes from that, put Nov behind me, move on & finish the year STRONG

Does self help suck? or you do you suck at Self help?

If you were in the 80’s & go to a book store there was a tiny section for “self help” books now it is the biggest & most profitable section, why?

People want to be More Confident , Happier,More Successful, Richer, More Attractive, Healthier, More Motivated. People want to change. People want to improve their lives however...

If Self help was really that effective all the gurus & motivational speakers & life coaches would be out of a job. Yet we buy they cds, read the books/blogs and will continue to do so for years to come, but is it really working? it depends

Self help technique is like a tool. If you don’t know HOW to use the tool it won’t help you. You can use a hammer to build but you can also hurt yourself with the hammer if not used properly

Reading about self-help gives you an emotional high (chocolate does it too :) the problem here is that it COULD also make you feel like you’re working on your life, but you actually might not. You gotta monitor your progress.

Self-help could be DANGEROUS because you read "positive thinking" [the secret] stuff that makes you feel good about yourself (where your logical conscious mind says:” I got this”) instead of taking ACTION. But I will say this.

Self help CAN/WILL work provided the desire to change is strong enough to overcome the obstacles.

So keep Reading & at the same time LOOK constantly for ways to APPLY what you read otherwise it won't work for you.
