RJG McManus grew up on the Indiana/Illinois border, just outside of Chicago, where she spent the majority of her childhood reading, writing, exploring the city, or enjoying days on Lake Michigan. She currently resides in the suburbs of DC, though as a Navy wife, that is subject to change regularly. She and her husband are the proud parents of a human baby boy, and a fur baby named Moony (and yes, for you Harry Potter fans out there, he is named after THAT Moony). When not writing, she enjoys reading a good book, drinking a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, yoga, surfing, and traveling (when not in a pandemic environment).
