June 2021 will see the release of my next book, same style as The German Aces Speak series. I dusted off more of the old interviews, and this time I started a new series with American aviators in WW II. It is posted on Amazon already.

Our book The Star of Africa is now translated into Polish, French and Finnish. Night Fighters is also in Danish.

We are also wroking on contracts for The German Aces Speak and other interviews with Luftwaffe pilots in foreign markets. Look out for Four War Boer and The German Aces Speak Vol II out in 2014.

For those of you who are, have, or will read any of our books (my wife Anne-Marie Lewis is coauthor on several), especially The German Aces Speak, I want to let you know that my new book on the history of the Me-262 jet fighter, told largely in the words of the German pilots themselves, also has interviews with the Allied pilots who flew against them, and will be out May 1 or so. OK, I thought that I would throw this out to those who read biographies, or even military books in general. I am well aware of the very small niche market I work in, but as I told my students over the years; 'Writing history is like building a house. Start with a good foundation (research), select the best materials (books, primary sources), and build in the best location (choosing subject(s) to write about) to sell later for a profit(meaning finding the right publisher).
