One day, while waiting for my own berry pie to bake, I began doodling on my iPad. Our cat Louey was watching and helping—everyone who has a cat knows how expertly c

"A sci-fi children’s book—wait, what? I was very curious to pick this up because I’m really into the idea of exposing kids to science ideas early on and getting that sense of wonder going in that direction, and what better way to do it than through sc" Read more of this review »

Nice guidance on structuring prompts.

Good guidance on structuring prompt. I really appreciated that the author showed images for the results: it helped understand how to create contextual characters.

Terry Pratchett
“Just a minute," said Lobsang. "Who are you? Time has stopped, the world is given over to...fairy tales and monsters, and there's a schoolteacher walking around?"

"Best kind of person to have," said Susan. "We don't like silliness. Anyway, I told you. I've inherited certain talents."

"Like living outside of time?"

"That's one of them."

"It's a weird talent for a schoolteacher!"

"Good for marking, though," said Susan calmly.”
Terry Pratchett, Thief of Time

“In Ireland, you go to someone's house, and she asks you if you want a cup of tea. You say no, thank you, you're really just fine. She asks if you're sure. You say of course you're sure, really, you don't need a thing. Except they pronounce it ting. You don't need a ting. Well, she says then, I was going to get myself some anyway, so it would be no trouble. Ah, you say, well, if you were going to get yourself some, I wouldn't mind a spot of tea, at that, so long as it's no trouble and I can give you a hand in the kitchen. Then you go through the whole thing all over again until you both end up in the kitchen drinking tea and chatting.

In America, someone asks you if you want a cup of tea, you say no, and then you don't get any damned tea.

I liked the Irish way better.”
