“On some positions, cowardice asks the question, is it expedient? And then expedience comes along and asks the question, is it politic? Vanity asks the question, is it popular? Conscience asks the question, is it right?

There comes a time when one must take the position that is neither safe nor politic nor popular, but he must do it because conscience tells him it is right.”

David Hi Thomas,

Gum disease may seem like a strange topic for a book. In reality, it is not.

Too many people (up to 75% according to stats) suffer from gum disease.

I fear that many people are offered expensive treatments without being given the knowledge to understand and stop the progression of the gum disease - this leads to more expensive treatments, lost teeth, implants and dentures.

In most cases, this does not have to be. With so many people suffering from gum disease this book has the potential to open a lot of eyes to many truths and understandings.

It belongs on everyone's book shelf - the real bookshelf - not the digital one.

Stay healthy and well Thomas, and thank you for your friendship.

Andrea Kulman Hi & thank you for being a friend on Good Reads!
