Paramour on Netgalley!

Are you an ARC reader interested in YA paranormal romance? Paramour is a Twilight comp featuring banshees! I like to say it's like Twilight but pink where the Gilmore Girls run from Supernatural hunters! lmao is that specific enough?

Read Paramour on Netgalley before it's gone!

Paramour is a YA Paranormal Romance about banshees!

Paramour is the book that changed the trajectory of my author career. You might think that would be my debut, When Oceans Rise, but publishing is funny like that. When Oceans Rise may have published first, but Paramour was the book that spurred me to take control.

It started when a friend of mine got sick.

Well, technically, it started way before that. Years ago, I wrote Paramour. It's Twilight-coded because I love that series, but it's so much more personal than that. I wrote it for my dear friend, Mercedez. Before she ever got sick with cancer, before we ever knew how little time we’d have, I started writing this story for her because I love her. Because I wanted her to have so much more than life was giving her. Because she deserved adventures and love.

And when she got sick, I kept thinking, What am I waiting for? Permission? Life is moving fast, and at any moment, it could all be over. I'd started looking into small presses, and When Oceans Rise came to be.

But Paramour is something else. This is the first time I'm really putting something out there on my own, and it's terrifying. But there are things much more terrifying in this world than taking a chance on a dream.

My friend passed knowing I would be published, but she never got to see that part of my life—at least, in the physical world. On her death bed, she was worried people would forget her. I promised her they never would.

Her name was Mercedez.
And the character is Sadie.

Now I could use your help with the voting 🖤

Click on the click below and it will take you to the voting site. As a warning, you have to go through EVERY category to get to my four categories. It can be rough! The option to skip is on most categories, EXCEPT book cover. The categories might not come in order, so I'm afraid I can't tell you when my categories will appear.
