You just woke up and find yourself onboard the spaceship Aubade escaping Earth. Forever. Last thing you remember is going to bed. On Earth.
Sara wakes up onboard the interstellar spaceship Aubade and realizes she’s lost everyone and everything she’s ever loved back on Earth. Forever. As she begins to adapt to her new life as the Historian onboard Aubade, she is determined to find out who selected her against her will.
A space opera for all you sci-fi fans who love Ripley and Sarah Connor and all the strong female leads in action movies.
A sci-fi space opera-ish adventure distilled through a fast paced action meets romance and pulp. It has all the good stuff!

Backstory:
Aubade sat in a folder for years. Literally. I have versions of Aubade from 2006. So it’s been with me a looong time. I decided to experiment with publishing Aubade as a serial. I’ve always had a soft spot for this space story, I kept going. I edited each original chapter and published a total of 20 updated chapters on Substack. They’re now behind a paywall for subscribers.
The most frequent feedback I got for my serial was:
“Publish Aubade as a novel and I’ll buy it!”

This is an independent publication. A one woman show. A zero budget project.
