We all know that second chances in life are hard to come by. I’ve had 8 of them.

I started writing my book 6 years ago after my 2nd brain operation that almost killed me. I wanted my two young sons (a newborn Billy & a 6-year-old Jay) to know who their father was.

I went through 8 months of rehabilitation to relearn how to walk and talk. However, a year later, I was back in the operating room to remove 6 cancers from my remaining left kidney.

After the operation, now with half a kidney, things were not looking good. It was in the ICU ward that I decided to take my story public and made a pledge to inspire millions if I can get another 10 years of life living with my original kidney.
