Iris sets sail alongside her estranged father, a pirate captain, and his vexatious crew in search of hidden treasure, the dangerous quest begins on Vatune, an island haunted by blood thirsty creatures, menacing ogres, and seductive sirens.

And then, her adventure takes an unexpected turn....

She becomes cursed and transformed into a mermaid, only to be abandoned once again by her father. when all hope seems lost, the only help she can rely on is a gorgeous merman with questionable intentions- but a magical personality that keeps her wanting more.

Once she discovers how to break the spell, iris has to make the ultimate choice: accept her father's apology and return home, or stay in Vatune as a mermaid forever.

I can’t believe that it’s almost Christmas, which means NYE is just around the corner.

Hope everyone's summer is going well. Not too many life updates but here's a few things currently happening in my life!

-My second book is being edited. I am unsure if I'll try my hand at traditional publishing or if I want to go ahead and self-pub this one. It's YA Fantasy.

-My daughter's birthday is coming up so I've been planning on baking a lot of cupcakes instead of a cake. I don't know if this is exciting info but I'm excited to decorate them.

-Had a great vacation at the beach! Might try camping one weekend soon, but my work schedule is out of this world with weekends being busy.

I was assigned to The Critiquing Chemist & Lynn's Books! (I know this can change by June 1st, but for now that's the blog I'm assigned to!)

I looked through all the books submitted this year and it's going to be an amazing contest, the cover art alone on these books screams a-w-e-s-o-m-e.

I wish I had time to read 299 books, but unfortunately life is busy, but I WILL be checking out as many as I can!

The contest starts on June 1st officially, so keep up with the blogs! :)) Cannot WAIT to see how this goes! Wish me luck!

Not too much going on at the moment, so I decided to take a minute to update you on what's going on in my book world.

I've decided to submit to SPFBO9, so I'll be excited to see if my work is chosen as a finalist. It takes a long time for all of the bloggers to go through all of the various books, but it will be worth seeing which they pick!

Aside from that, I'm almost done writing the first draft of my second book. I have yet to come up with the final title, and I'm stuck between two options but I'll announce it once I figure out which I decide on.

Summer is BUSY for me, so if anybody wants to contact me it might be a bit before I respond.

Aside from that, get outside and enjoy the amazing sun :)

Easter is one of my favorite holidays because it means that spring has arrived! (or it's on the way, very very close)

I'll be busy writing another book this year, and will update on the release of it. So far I've gotten about halfway through the first draft...it takes a while for me to get everything put together.

Writing and publishing a book as an indie author is no easy task, so I thank every single person on here that takes a look at my work!
I'll try to update my blog at least once a week, aiming for Friday mornings.
I have a baby who is six months old, and a six year old, so my life is being pretty hectic at the moment! I have some time off of work, and it's allowed me to get started on my second book. Still debating on whether it should be a short story collection or one long book, so keep an eye out later for a poll!
