Most people start writing at a young age, and mature into seasoned writers. I waited until retirement, and began writing the stories that had been brewing in my head for over 30 years. As a native New Englander, my novels primarily take place in the eastern U.S. where I worked as a private investigator for a number of years. I have also served on the boards of directors for Citizens in Community Service, and Coalition Against Domestic Violence in Fulton County N.Y., where I also served as a police chaplain in the cities of Johnstown and Gloversville. I now reside in Alexandria, VA. My first novel Cob: Search For A Serial Killer was published in July. I have recently published a 2nd novel Twin Killing. My third novel Red Ink was published in ...more

I try not to let situations and characters from other books influence me. That's why I use all characters from real life. It's hard to influence my 'choppy writing style' as my daughter call it. “If you don't have time to read, you don't have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.”
Stephen King

James Morcan
“Contrary to the media circus which portrayed politicians as all-powerful figures, Kentbridge knew from experience the vast majority of US Government officials – elected or otherwise – were puppets who only had the illusion of power.”
James Morcan, Lance Morcan, The Ninth Orphan

Sarah Ban Breathnach
“[I]t doesn’t matter whom you love or where you move from or to, you always take yourself with you. If you don’t know who you are, or if you’ve forgotten or misplaced her, then you’ll always feel as if you don’t belong. Anywhere. (xiii)”
Sarah Ban Breathnach, Moving On: Creating Your House of Belonging with Simple Abundance

Tammara Webber
“Sorry, boyfriends everywhere—you’re doomed to sit through an hour and forty-seven minutes of syrupy drivel. The payoff? Between my face, Tadd’s abs and Quinton’s biceps, your girl will be ready for takeoff as soon as the credits roll. You’re welcome.”
Tammara Webber, Where You Are

“Psychologists have finally proven that the entire justice system’s deep motives and its idea as a whole, which have existed for thousands of years, are completely false, since they rest upon empty human delusions. Namely, the delusion that people can control or change the future and win over the evil that has already taken place. According to the studies, this is impossible, since it’s the evil of the moment that makes the world go round and this is a fixed constant.”
Alexandar Tomov, Beyond the Absurd
