Author interview- about my writing, my inspiration to become a writer

Podcast with Nahid Rachlin
http://schatkinshow.com/2020/01/podca... Nahid Rachlin went to Columbia University Writing Program on a Doubleday-Columbia Fellowship and then went on to Stanford University writing program on a Wallace Stegner Fellowship.
The interview is focused on what motivated me to become a writer, my struggles that led me to read books to find answers to what seemed chaotic and incomprehensible, what led to my desire to become a writer. I also read a few pages of my first published novel, Foreigner (WW Norton) and a few pages of my memoir, Persian Girls (Penguin). Find out more about my work: http://www.nahidrachlin.com/index.htm
