Update
I have been experiencing a bout of writer's block for quite a few months now. So much had been going on that I just haven't had the time to put pen to paper until a few days ago. Now, I can't seem to stop writing. But one of the worse things happened, and that's the dreaded editing process. I just received the manuscript from the editor back for the third book in The White Stealth Clan series and the process is taking up a lot of time. Because of that, I haven't had time to write again, but I have continued to jot down notes for the fourth book in the series, so that's a start.
I do plan on publishing the third book in the shifter series in the next few months as well as work on pushing out New Beginnings once again. The publisher, Resplendence Publishing, had closed their doors, so now I have to revamp the cover and reformat before republishing. It's coming together slowly, but it will be republished in the next few months as well.
Not only that, but I'm working on a putting together a few short stories under one title called Sweat-dripping Tales. I'm excited about it, but the process is taking longer than I anticipated.
Until then, don't forget to check out my current works!

Keeping up with the blog
Yes. I have a hard time keeping up with my blog. It's not that I forget about it, I just don't know what to post on here sometimes. For the past year, I've hard a terrible case of writer's block.
But, guess what?! It's back, my writing, that is. lol
While I haven't had the yearning to write, I did take a few stories and make them standalone since the anthologies they were featured in are no longer published. So, I did accomplish some things.
Do you know what else helped combat writer's block? The Deadly Reality book signing that was hosted at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. That's right. I attended a signing and realized how much I absolutely enjoyed mingling with fellow authors and meeting readers of my work. It was a blast, as always, and it made me sign up for more signing in 2020. Look out for the list of signings that I may be attending.
I do have a few stories I'm currently in the process of writing. One is based on a dating website, while another is the final book in The White Stealth Clan series. Eventually, they'll be released as the entire process takes time. Want to stay connected more often, check out my FB pg as I post often on there and IG.

Happy Holidays
Another year is passing and I've made new resolutions. One is to spend more time writing and possibly releasing more books than I've published in the past. The second is spending extra time with my parents. I live far away from them, and at times, it's difficult to travel and visit, but I vow this year I'd go see them often even if it's just for the weekend. Another resolution is to force myself to go out more. I usually say no to invitations because personally I prefer to stay home and read a book. It's not that I don't enjoy the company of my friends, I do. It's just that I also enjoy being alone. Technically, for me, I'm not alone when reading especially if the story flows well and feels real.
I hope everyone has had and continues to have an amazing holiday season. I look forward to posting more on this blog and connecting with my readers and fellow authors.
Stay tuned for upcoming release announcements!

The New Year and Goals
So far, I've written more words at the beginning of this year than I've written the entire time last year. I'd say that it's a huge accomplishment and one I'm looking forward to celebrating. Now, are those words worth keeping, some might be. The point is that I've broken the writer's block and loving it. The reason being is that I've set goals. Those goals include writing each day, even if it's just a few words. I have to set time aside, otherwise, I'd be sucked into the world outside of my writing area. Once that happens, there's no motivation left to write. The second goal is to publish more works this year than the previous year and try to reach out to other publishers. I want to continue being a hybrid author, not just self-published. The next goal is to work on my photo-editing skills. They aren't great, but I'd love to create my own teasers/covers for my books. I also want to read more books than the previous years, which take a toll because depending on how interesting the book is, that's how long it'll take me to read the story. On top of these goals, I want to finish my degree or work toward a certification. I know it's a lot to accomplish, but I think I might be able to push through.
*Marketing is not my favorite...
The hardest part of writing is marketing. Not because I don't know how, it's because it takes so much time away from the writing process. I would just like to sit at my computer and write all day and night, even if it's toward my poetry collection. What's the hardest part of the writing process for you?

Book Update
I've been super busy since the new year. My Anti-Valentine novella, Counter-Love, is up for pre-order. The title was previously published in the Love Sucks Anthology in 2018. Counter-Love will be live on Amazon on Feb. 12, 2020. Here is the Amazon pre-order link: https://amzn.to/2uspvml
Guess what else is finished and ready for editing? The ending of The White Stealth Clan! This story took me close to three years to fully complete. There are four novellas in the series with each one focusing on separate mates. They can be read as standalone or in order. I suggest reading in order because even though the stories focus on separate mates, it still follows the alpha and clan. More updates will be available once final edits are complete with my shifter series.

Accepted
Do you know what's really exciting? Being accepted into another contract. It's perfect because I enjoy being a hybrid author. About a month ago, I saw a few posts about submitted stories to the Cocky Hero Club, and so I took the chance and entered one of mine. Two weeks after submitting, I received a letter asking if I'd like to be part of their group. I waited for a few days, read the contract over and then signed. It was beyond exciting to be part of Penelope and Vi's characters and world. As of right now, I have a rough outline, nothing that's considered permanent as I'm unsure of where I want to go with the story. I have a year to complete the assignment, so I'm just going to have fun with it. Every now and then I'll post a few things about my progress, but if you'd like to read one of the original works, here's Park Avenue Player. My characters will be based on the sub-characters from Penelope and Vi's main characters.

2020, am I right?!
I'm just saying that 2020 has been rough. I haven't had a chance to keep up with my blog because of the string of events. As I'm trying to complete deadlines, my family struggles with family members residing with us, COVID positive, and a house fire. It's been one craziness after another as we learn to live in a small hotel together. But, we are back into our home, and I'm looking forward to completing the deadlines.
I have finished the story for the Cocky Hero Club series and am awaiting the publisher's response. I'll keep you all posted on the title, and when it will be released. I am also deciding on whether to sign up for Nano next month. I think it will help push me to complete those deadlines.
If I don't type up another post before the 31st,
*Happy Halloween!*
I hope you all are doing well in 2020! Who's looking forward to 2021? lol

December Updates
Now that NaNo is completed, I've finished Sweat-Dripping Tales. It's currently with the editor and should be released at the beginning of 2021.
Cocky Hero Club Title: The publisher had approved the title, cover, and story. I'm waiting for the formatting to be approved. Once that's done, then we wait for the release date.
Are you missing the characters from the White Stealth Clan? Well, I've written a short, holiday story and it should be released by Christmas this year. It's currently in the editing stage.
