Parrish Family Medical & Financial Needs
Parrish Family Medical & Financial Needs
After back surgery with laminectomy and spinal fusion, bacterial infection, shifting hardware and other complications led to surgery #2. This surgery repaired most of the remaining problems but damaged left leg nerve tissue that will require up to a year of therapy and work to heal. Daily antibiotic IV infusions to last 8-12 weeks post surgery, followed by preventative antibacterial therapy/medications indefinitely.
2 surgeries. 4 hospital stays; 23 days total. Countless scans and procedures and medications. There’s home healthcare and rehabilitation/physical therapy happening.
Insurance doesn’t cover every medical cost. Nor does it pay mortgage, groceries, utilities, and other home bills. Karen is working 2 jobs; Robin is unable to work during recovery.
We have been so blessed, so many times, with help from friends and loved ones. We have no right to ask for additional help. But things are what they are. God has never once abandoned us, and we have absolute faith that He’s not about to now.
