After reading my novel Fortunes of War, some have seen similarities between the Six Sentinels and the modern-day United Nations. The Sentinels operate outside of the jurisdiction of any one country and exist to ensure peace is promoted worldwide, though the Sentinels have the benefit of being completely politically independent.

In my view, the Sentinels act more like a private equity firm, or a hedge fund. A group of well-connected, intelligent friends decide to form a private corporation...

Greed has always played a part in any conflict,  my book also details this in terms of how German industrialists tried to smuggle their fortunes of war out of Germany. How do you think greed affects the political struggles we are seeing today?
