“People can speak to teapots and hear their answers as clearly as you are reading this now. We call them psychotics and give them drugs. People can speak to ghosts and hear their answers. We call them psychics and give them money. People can speak to gods and receive their message. We call them prophets and give them our souls. The social definition of who is speaking is more important than the message and until we know what ‘normal’ is how can we even grasp what is ‘paranormal’?”
