Working through the quarantine
Hey guys,
Just wanted to send out a quick hello to let everyone know two of my books are joining collections through my publisher, Limitless! I hope you have a chance to check them out. BRICK is part of the Dynasty collection.

It’s available now on Amazon.
Kane will be part of The Devil’s Weakness MC collection out on May 28. If you’re at home on quarantine and looking for something to read, I hope you check these out.
In the meantime, I am very fortunate in that I am able to keep working through all of this COVID-19 craziness. But by that, I mean I am working my day job and a side gig as a homeschooling teacher to my two teenagers. It doesn’t leave much time for writing. But we are healthy and there’s food on the table, which I am thankful for every day.
Hope you and your families are safe.

Looking for a quick, free read?
I know I’ve been a little quiet for a while, but I hope you’ll forgive me because I have been working on new content to share.
I’m part of a fun, fantastic group of women who make up my local RWA chapter. We are combining our collective talents for an anthology to be released this fall. Each of us who participated wrote a short story–less than 10,000 words–with a central theme of winter holidays in the Charleston area. My submission was a very on-brand dark romance about a hitman who is sent to track down a woman he made a connection with one night at bar to determine whether she witnessed a murder…and possibly to kill her.
I had such a blast with Tony and Callie’s story, I knew I wanted to write more with them, so I went back and wrote the story of how they met, a prequel to the anthology story, and then wrote a short about what happens after the anthology story.
The first part–the story of how they meet–is now a free download for everyone who signs up for my newsletter.

Spilling blood comes as easy as breathing for Tony, and work as a hitman keeps women like Callie far out of his reach. Cultured and classy, she should want nothing to do with him. But somehow…she does.
A better man would turn her away.
Sometimes it pays not to be a better man.

Keep an eye out for Love in the Lowcountry: Winter Holidays Collection, releasing November 5, for part two. I’ll put up part three on Amazon at the same time. All three parts together will equal the length of a novella.
I hope you enjoy!

ROBBY is on sale now!
Robby’s book is finally here.
This m/m interracial romance features a found family, a demisexual single dad, and a gentle, generous spirit fighting the demons of his past.
It’s book 3 in the Cooper Construction series, but you can read as a standalone.
I’m so grateful for the early reviews coming in. Thank you to everyone posting on Amazon and Goodreads.
Kelly with Reading the Paranormal gave it 5 stars. “I kinda love this found family at Cooper Construction. They’re big, tough, and they love whole-heartedly. Both with their friends and their significant others. “
5 stars from Lydia at HEA Bookshelf, who called Robby “a story that went beyond being a romance. It was about two people healing and finding their way, not just in life, but together. Even if you don’t read m/m books, give this one a try. Robby and Matt’s story will definitely pull on your heartstrings.”
Thanks so much to everyone who has joined me on the ride with my three new releases in the past four months. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

It’s hard to believe it, but Brick is out in the wild. I am just over the moon that I can share him with you guys.
I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to leave reviews on Goodreads, Bookbub, and (especially) Amazon. This is the best way to help other readers find books, and discoverability is such a challenge.
I’ve been so blessed with some of the positive feedback coming in.

MEET THE AUTHOR: Amelia Foster
Books, coffee, and chocolate make up both the heart and body mass that is better known as Amelia Foster. She has been a lifelong lover of the written word, both as a reader and an author, and completed her first manuscript at the ripe old age of five complete with illustrations. Sadly, her art was a medium that never improved over time although thankfully her writing has.
From sweet to salacious the only requirement Amelia has in books she reads – and definitely in the ones she crafts – is an excessively satisfying happily ever after… and then a little bit more.

Cover Reveal: Anything Once by Meka James

Anything Once by Meka James
Release Date: January 22, 2019
Publisher: Limitless Publishing
Genre: Adult, Contemporary, Erotic Romance
Blurb:
Quinn has been happily married for ten years. Her relationship with Ian is built on love, trust, and honesty. At least that’s what she thought…until a four-letter word changed everything.
P.O.R.N.
After finding her husband alone in a rather awkward situation, Quinn starts to question her beliefs about their marriage.
While they’ve always had a healthy sex life, it was far from adventurous. She loves her husband, and he loves her, but the revelation allows worries to mount, and insecurities to grow.
After having a candid conversation with Ian, Quinn realizes that it all boils down to one very important question.
Is she willing to try anything once?
The answer is…yes.
**This story contains discussions on infertility**

Excerpt:
Quinn wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her
face in his chest.
“Baby, you okay?”
She nodded.
“You sure?”
She nodded again. “My legs are a little wobbly.”
He laughed, then in one swoop, bent down to pick her
up and carried her over to the couch. Quinn sat in his lap with her head
resting against his shoulder. Ian waited to see what she’d say, how she’d react
to him treating her so roughly, since he’d never been anything but gentle in
their lovemaking.
She intertwined her fingers with his and started
placing soft kisses on his neck. “I want to try.”
He rubbed his thumb across her knuckles. “Try what?”
She sat up to look at him. “More. Different ways. I’m
willing to give anything a shot, once.” She stopped and smiled. “More than once
if I like it.”
Ian sucked in a breath. “Really?”
Her tongue darted across her bottom lip before she
sank her teeth into it and nodded.
“Sweetness, you don’t have to do that.”
His statement was met with a rolling of the eyes and
muttering under her breath. Even after all these years, his Spanish was only
slightly less rusty than when they’d first met. He managed to pick up the words
“kind-hearted” and “idiot” during her quiet rant before she took a breath and
placed her warm hands on either side of his face.
“I know I don’t ‘have’ to do this. The last twelve
years of our relationship has proven that.”
Any rebuttal got silenced by the hard narrowing of her
eyes.
“I want to do this. To explore new things.”
Sincerity radiated through her every word. This was
not the outcome he’d ever expected, but the possibility of getting to have new
experiences with his wife was an opportunity he wouldn’t let go to waste.

Falling in love for the first time should be the most amazing feeling in the world. For me, it was the exact opposite.
See, the guy I fell in love with turned out to be a cheat. The best part, the real doozy? He cheated on me with my very own twin sister.
The entire debacle left me with enough wounds, and knives in my back to last me a lifetime. I was convinced I’d never fall in love again. Ever.
Until I ran into my past.
Orlando was my first crush. My friend. But he’s not the Orlando I remember. He’s changed. Now he’s the silent, brooding type. The type I should avoid while nursing a broken heart.
I know I shouldn’t risk it. I know I should keep my distance.
But here’s the thing…I can’t.

Her love for books started from a very young age, when her loving father would gift her books like Russian Tales woven with fantasy. But it was in late 2015 when she found the books of Paranormal Romance author Cynthia Eden, whose books introduced her to the whole new world of paranormals. The more she read the more she got enticed and she penned her first novel in 2016. Since then, she has resigned her full-time job as the HR and Operations Manager at a marketing/event management firm to pursue her passion as a writer.
When she isn’t writing, she likes to travel and read. Music and writing go hand in hand for this night owl. Her family and furbabies are her world.
She also loves to chat with her readers and fellow authors. You can find Catherine often chatting on Twitter or on her Facebook page.
