Fresh Fiction Review

Fresh Fiction has a great review of SKELETON CREW!

Gritty, raw, and hilarious, SKELETON CREW combines all the best parts of the genre; a flawed hero, lots of action and a cast of fascinating characters on both sides of the battle lines, as well as a set of bad guys that might scare you into a fresh pair of jockey shorts.

Skeleton Crew: Available Now

Online booksellers have SKELETON CREW in stock and are shipping now. Oddly, if you want the ebook, you still have to wait until May 1. No, that doesn't make any sense to me, either.

Enjoy!

There's a review of SKELETON CREW and an interview with me at A Book Obsession. Many thanks to Kt for the kind words and the opportunity to speak with her.

Skeleton Crew: RT Top Pick!

It's subscription only for now, but SKELETON CREW received 4.5 stars and a Top Pick! from RT Book Reviews Magazine. I don't want to overuse the protected content, but the reviewer had this to say about the book:

The second book in the Underworld Cycle is even better than the first.

Hey, that's good news even if you hated the first book!

LOCUS Review

This is one I've been waiting for. Locus Magazine calls Cameron Haley (that's me) a "very promising newcomer" and calls MOB RULES a "fun, fast-paced novel."

Domino may be a criminal, but she has a dedication to her job that makes her easy to root for, and some new developments in the end promise things are only going to get more interesting for her in future volumes.

The magazine likewise describes HARVEST MOON as "a strong fantasy anthology," and says:

With three such entertaining stories, all standalones despite being part of series, this anthology is a good choice for anyone wanting to sample these series, as well as a delight for existing fans.

Thanks, Locus! Woot!

RT Reviewers’ Choice Nomination

My editor tells me MOB RULES has been nominated for Best Urban Fantasy Novel in the 2010 Reviewers’ Choice Awards by RT Book Reviews Magazine! I don’t know who the other nominees are, but I’m sure to be in good company. Patricia Briggs won last year. Many thanks, RT!
