Growing Up with Kaylee- Fall Fun!

It has been quite some time since I posted a "Growing Up with Kaylee" blog post. She's almost 3 1/2 and has grown so tall. I have no doubts she is going to be taller than me. She is 40" and weighs 38 pounds and still asks to be picked up. I still do it. I barely stand 5'4". How old did you stop picking up your child? It isn't her fault she is such a tall girl. I am going to share some things we did this past month together. We had many more pictures and a couple other events to share, but there is only so much room here. We also read several seasonal books. Some of those books were from the Children's Book Group here on Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

The little boy in the picture is Kaylee's cousin Max and the other little girl is her cousin Alyssa. Hard to believe they are only 6 months between Kaylee who is the oldest and Alyssa who is the youngest.

I'd love for you to leave a comment with what you did with your family or friends leading up to Halloween.

Yes, that is a little golden pumpkin used to make the snitch. =) I had the idea and went with it. We used permanent marker paint pens. My husband wanted the scarf for himself. If you look closely, this was the perfect pumpkin. My daughter picked it out and we didn't notice until we got home that it has a nose!

See the two oreo cookies in the upper left? Evidence of the two smallest sneaking cookies while I help Kaylee dip the first cookie. =) The kids decorated these themselves. Can you guess which one was my husband's? He loves peanut butter cups. Oreos were dipped in orange candy melts and decorated with mini chocolate chips. Very easy and fun to make. Yes, tasty too!
