Death is Not the End of Your Relationship

How to Be With Death and Grief

If a person who is close to you dies, it does not mean the relationship is over.

The relationship continues inside your own being whenever you think of them or bring their image to your mind’s eye.

Relationships can be healed and improved even if they have passed away because the relationship is still happening inside of you.

Because guess what?

Your relationship with them was always being experienced from inside of you. The way you feel, the way you see them and interpret them, was always being experienced from inside of you.

If you want to talk to them and express how you feel, you still can. Simply bring them up in your minds eye and speak with them with an open heart. If you want to forgive them, you still can. If you want to love them, you still can. They still exist inside you and this relationship can be healed and even improved.

The essence of this message is that if someone dies or disappears for any reason, the relationship and the way you feel about them can continue and be healed even if they are not present in physical form.

The way you work with the images in your mind and the feelings you send out, creates ripples of energy into the universe. This type of energy is not bound by time or space and therefore, our relationships are not either.

Therefore, allow yourself to work on healing your relationship with all those who have passed. It is not over.

They are open to it, now more than ever!

When you make peace with them (and yourself), you can let them go with a smile and rejoice.

Study Martial Arts Online – GMAU Review

Taekwondo, Karate & Martial Arts Training with GMAU

In 2017, I went to China to study Kung Fu.

I trained intensely for a month at a Kung Fu School in Shangdong province (the province where Confucius was born around 500BC.)

During that time, I ran up hills, jumped and kicked things like I had never done before. I even broke a brick with my bare hands!

It was intense.

And, I was hooked.

Kung fu in China

It just felt so damn good to learn how to move, punch and kick with balance, strength and eventually, finesse.

Also being around martial arts masters, Qi Gong masters, and other martial arts students felt amazing, grounding and powerful.

My flexibility increased 20x in that short time and it made me feel super grounded, calm, confidence and internally strong.

When I returned to Australia, I couldn’t find a Kung Fu school nearby, but I found a Taekwondo school nearby.

Taekwondo is a Korean martial arts and Taekwondo literally translates at “the way of the foot and hand”.

Taekwondo focuses mostly on kicks and is famous as being one for the most dynamic styles of martial arts.

After 6 months of training Taekwondo, I moved to Bali and then onto Thailand where it became increasingly difficult to find schools to train.

I became frustrated and bored. I wanted to train, I needed guidance, I needed to find a black belt.

I msged FB forum after FB forum looking for a Taekwondo black belt in the area to train me. I tried for over a year with no luck.

BUT, a few months ago, I found GMAU (Global Martial Arts University) and they had just released a new Taekwondo online training program.

This could be it! I thought.

I signed up for the free, 7 day trial immediately.

Training began with 3rd dan black belt, Adam Gerrald. (left)

Initially, I thought, how can you learn this martial art off the computer?

But, after a few days of doing the training videos, I was blown away at how good it was designed. The layout, the materials and the support inside the membership area is incredibly well thought out.

Black bels are black belts for a reason.

They have trained a lot!

(It takes on average 4 years to get a black belt in Taekwondo or Karate.)

And it shows when you go through the videos and material. It is very level specific which means it takes you step by step, through the basic techniques and drills.

Each class slowly adds to the previous class and progress is steady yet progressive and dynamic.

After my 7 days, I was already seeing a lot of benefits so I signed up as a fully paid student and have been training most days, ever since.

My legs flexibility has massively increased.

My legs feel much lighter and looser.

When I go out dancing I feel more energized and vibrant on the dance floor (which my girlfriend loves).

And, I feel so much more balanced, physically and mentally which I feel is positively influencing my relationships and my work.

I friggen’ love training Taekwondo now and wanted to share this opportunity with you.

If you are looking to increase your…
– flexibility
– strength
– cardio
– be more grounded (emotionally, mentally and energetically)
– be more focused

– and feel more confident

I recommend checking out the courses on offer at GMAU.

They currently have training in:
Karate
Taekwondo
Krav Maga

Staff weapon from Japanese Bojutsu

While it is still recommended to attend live classes from time to time, you can develop a lot of the basics and foundations from these online training programs.

Training online with these materials can save you a tonne of money, time and energy.

You can train whenever you feel inspired – and you can train directly at your level.

If you sign up today, you will get a FREE 7 days trial so you can check it out.

Current Back Pain Treatments Ineffective

Another series of medical studies has come to find that back pain is being mismanaged with harmful, expensive and ineffective treatments.

Researchers are finding that we have become over-reliant on expensive medical scans, surgeries and opioid painkilling medication to treat back pain and it’s clearly not working. Instead, they are now saying that it could be better managed and treated with “self-management” and less invasive physical and psychological therapies.

Researchers conclude that back pain cases are on the rise, the cause is not well understood and is being poorly managed medically.

This is another sign that modern medicine is fairly clueless and terrible at understanding and treating any chronic, long-term condition.

In Chinese medicine, we would say that back pain is mostly due to stagnation due to sedentary lifestyles. Sitting in a more comfortable chair will not solve the problem, but make sedentary and stagnation worse long term.

Tips to reduce back pain and get rid of it completely without scans, surgery or opioids:

More movement/exercise
Don’t sit in chairs all day long! They are terrible for establishing core posture. Throw many of your chairs out the window and practice sitting on the floor.
Squats and boosting leg power
Stretch hamstrings
Yin yoga
Pilates
Laugh more
Acupuncture
Chinese herbs that tonify kidneys
Quality rest & relaxation
Reduce fear & worry input (don’t watch the news)
