Enough with the sweaters. This Father���s Day I gave my guy an early gift���tix to Lorraine Hansberry���s final play. She was a genius. The incandescent performances by Oscar Isaac and Rachel Brosnahan honor her memory.

Back then, the wise and brave Manhattan DA was a young lawyer in my husband���s firm. I needed someone to tell me what being a Harvard undergrad was like at the time my main character was a student there. Alvin fit the bill: He was patient, informative, and great company. A totally A+ guy.
