New character art!

Time has just flown by, hasn’t it? I haven’t posted anything since the end of May, but as you can probably already guess I have been very busy! I’ve been to my second con where I participated -as an author – on two different panels, I’ve finished the second draft of my horror novel and sent it out to beta readers (three have provided feedback so far and I’m so excited to dive back into that projec

Well-written, but very confusing at times. I feel like several important things happened off-page only to be mentioned in passing later.

Also, I couldn't quite get a grasp on the magic system... And I might be getting too old for YA 😅

I really liked th

I was bored for most of it, but I guess it was competently written. At least the book looks gorgeous on my shelf.

Steven Erikson
“And now the page before us blurs.
An age is done. The book must close.
We are abandoned to history.
Raise high one more time the tattered standard
Of the Fallen. See through the drifting smoke
To the dark stains upon the fabric.
This is the blood of our lives, this is the
Payment of our deeds, all soon to be
Forgotten.
We were never what people could be.
We were only what we were.

Remember us.”
Steven Erikson, The Crippled God
