New series and giveaway!

Welcome to Doom Farms is the first book in a spooky new MG series that will thrill fans of Goosebumps. I like to think it's the perfect Halloween read, whether you're a young reader or a thirty-something with serious 90s nostalgia like me.
When Kayla Dunn’s family moves from the city to the country town of Orchard Falls, she has one dream: to grow pumpkins big enough to compete in the annual Jack-o’-Lantern Festival. Desperate to win—and beat her next-door nemesis—she resorts to planting unusual, glowing seeds from a mysterious shopkeeper.
Kayla should be overjoyed when her pumpkins grow faster and bigger than she ever imagined … but her first harvest is about to become a real nightmare.
Because these pumpkins are blue and veiny.
Because their vines seem to have a mind of their own.
And because something terrifying inside them is longing to hatch.

Giveaway and request an advance copy of PATCHWORK
1) Some people have been asking about review copies of PATCHWORK, so I've set up an easy submission form right on my website! I have digital galleys formatted for every device. Don't be shy, the more feedback the merrier.
2) If you want a chance to win a signed copy, there's also currently a giveaway running on Goodreads. And of course don't forget to add the book to your to-read shelf: Patchwork.
The idea of this weird little time travel book originated wayyyyy back while I was writing WILDEFIRE and I'm really excited to share it with you all! Happy reading for now.

Thank You!
I just wanted to write a quick post to thank everyone who picked up a copy of NIGHTINGALE, SING to help make this happen last week:

After the book was fortunate enough to be featured by BookBub, more than 1,000 new readers picked up a copy of NIGHTINGALE in just a few days, propelling it to #1 in YA historical fiction and #2 in YA mysteries & thrillers, just behind the formidable Miss Peregrine.
Publishing is a roller coaster, and despite times when I doubted myself after this book got a slow start, I couldn't be happier with how the last week turned out. Even though NIGHTINGALE is a standalone, I'm even considering moving forward with a sequel that's been pinballing around in my brain for the last year.
If you haven't yet picked up a copy, the eBook is still on sale for a limited time for only $1.99! If you have read it, I always appreciate reading honest reviews on GoodReads or Amazon--anything helps.
And for those of you who are totally unfamiliar with the book, here's a quick summary!
To save her dying sister, Sabra Tides must race to solve a web of riddles and find a mythical flower, while a ruthless gangster will stop at nothing to get there first. This powerful YA thriller is perfect for fans of THE RAVEN BOYS, SIX OF CROWS, and THE DA VINCI CODE.

NIGHTINGALE, SING comes out this week!

So what is this book about, in one sentence?
A teenage girl follows a trail of historical riddles around Boston in search of a mythical treasure that can cure her dying sister, while a murderous gangster competes to get there first.
Who would you recommend it to?
Anyone who loved THE RAVEN BOYS, SIX OF CROWS, NATIONAL TREASURE, or THE DA VINCI CODE. Anyone who lives in New England and wants to read about real local history. Anyone between the ages of 12 and 200 who has good taste and likes fun.
I still haven’t read your WILDEFIRE trilogy. Is that a problem?
Not at all! NIGHTINGALE, SING has nothing to do with that series. And I wrote it when I was much older and wiser, so it’s even better.
What is the best thing I can do to show my support?
For a book to be successful, the first week is the most critical, so I will love you forever if you:
1) Order a copy in any format today
2) Consider sharing this post on Facebook
3) Once you’ve read it, leave a quick, honest review—even one sentence—on Amazon or Goodreads. It’s a great way to generate new readers and influences how visible my book will be throughout the site, so even a few words help!
I’m in! Where can I get my copy?
Just follow the link below. The Kindle version is $3.99 for the first week and the paperback is available for $9.99. Both editions feature beautiful photography from around New England at the start of each chapter.
Thank you so much for your support--I started writing this book in 2012 and I hope you love it as much as I do. Love, Karsten
