Yes it is a very strange title for a children's book, but how am I going to get children to read books about our culture unless I entice them with an interesting title. My new Arabic picture book "When A Camel Craves Loqaimat" is launching during Sharjah International Book Fair (7 - 17 November 2012). My book reading and signing will we be on the Tuesday 13th November at 11:00 AM. Bring your little ones if you care for a camel ride into the desert and meet how a little girl greets her camel guest. It's funny, quirky and full of Emirati words which some of them will be new to your kids. I hope you come and let me know what you think about the book.

Salam Alaikom and greetings to everyone. I am not much of a blogger, but I will post some stuff from time to time that are related to my books and activities. IThe majority of my posts will be in English, since this site mostly caters to English speakers. It does'nt mean that I prefer to post in English. It is the language of this century for the time being. Anyway, stay tuned and I hope you enjoy my books as much as I enjoy reading so many books from around the world.
