Rhiannon is Back (And other news)...

First and foremost: Rhiannon is back! I'm was so excited when Samhain offered to buy not one, but THREE of the books in the series. The fourth is a work in progress (I'm writing as fast as I can -- kiddos can hinder the process a bit). Purchase links are below.

AMAZON

BARNES & NOBLE

SAMHAIN (this one has a sizable discount)

I'll add other outlets as they appear. This version of Dead, Undead contains 7k additional words which my editor graciously allowed me to return (mostly character development and things that were previously omitted). My goal is to finish Edge of Darkness in December and Into Oblivion (Rhiannon #5) shortly thereafter.

As for other things:

Crimson Sunrise is currently in edits and I'll share release information soon. Crimson Sunset will follow (I imagine Crimson Sunrise will release the beginning of next year and Crimson Sunset will release in the summer or fall -- depending on edits).

As for other works.

*takes a deep breath*

My editor at EC (Ann The Mighty) was removed from staff a while ago. I currently have no EC editor. I was given a new one who resigned. Due to this, I've re-done my schedule. I've waited a LONG time to say this. It's broken my heart and has made it very difficult to write (I had started Sought and Immortal Mine). I'm almost done with Make Me Surrender but halted when I learned Ann was gone. I know there are things going on at EC and I've been quiet on the matter. Although I'd like to say more, I won't. It's not my way. I've been through ups and downs with many publishers and I've learned it's best to wait and see what is what. I don't know what's going on. Truly. However, I'm an author who schedules with editors I currently owe work and work (at Samhain and otherwise) is due.

On a more positive note, I've started new series to release next year (a SCI-FI erotic romance series) I'm super excited about (my mother in law is also excited and loves what's taken place so far), therefore I hope you will too.

Dear readers: I know it's hard when you want a certain book in a series yet it's not HERE. Again, I am sorry. Sometimes I don't say much because, again, I prefer not to. Trust me when I say that I'd have books to you as soon as possible if I could. This is why I'm leaning toward self-publishing.

Things I can tell you:

The Renfield Syndrome releases in February at Samhain.

Crimson Sunrise will release just before or after that.

The Ripple Effect releases in July/August

Crimson Sunset will release just before or after The Ripple Effect.

Edge of Darkness will release in 2015.

I've returned to the Desires of the Otherworld series, those books are coming too.

As always, thank you for your support. I appreciate it more than you know. I've added those who've asked to take part to my newsletter.

I wish all of you nothing but my best. As always, thank you for being awesome!

Alpha Mine is Here

Alpha Mine is here! I apologize for the delay in posting on GR. I wanted to have as many active links as possible. That being said, I hope you enjoy the second portion of Trey and Sadie's story. Plot threads come together, several things are resolved, and you'll learn which book (and hero and heroine) to expect next. I enjoyed writing this story, and I hope you enjoy reading it. This is the longest book in the series (at over 88k words).

Purchase links!

Ellora's Cave

Amazon: Kindle

Barnes and Noble:
Nook

Kobo

All Romance Ebooks (Coming Soon).

For those who've asked about Audible -- please contact Audible HERE .

As of now the book isn't on audio but a representative told me to direct readers to that email to request the book. Hopefully the story will be in that format in the future.

Thank you, as always, for the support!

Alpha Mine Release Date

It's official. Alpha Mine releases June 6th at Ellora's Cave. I'm currently wrapping up Make Me Surrender. I'll be back with news on future projects as soon as possible. I hope you enjoy second half of Trey and Sadie's story. It's longer than Vampire Mine (88k words) and, I hope, will answer the questions and please readers who wanted more of the couple.

Blurb:

A mating like no other.

Trey almost turned his back on his pack to claim Sadie—the stunning vampire who made him whole and crept into his soul. Finally, things have settled. But as an alpha, Trey’s always busy. Thankfully he has a woman who’s more than happy to ease his frustrations, see to his every desire and give him as much of her as he can take. He can’t wait to greet each day with his mate by his side.

Then Shepherds return to New York and start killing off shifters.

Sadie’s powerful enough to protect their people but Trey is determined to keep her safe. Until other dangers arise—ones that could harm humans and immortals alike—and he needs her help when things take a turn for the worst. To destroy their enemies, they’ll have to stand together. Even if it means risking everything, including each other.

A Romantica® erotic paranormal romance from Ellora’s Cave.

Alpha Mine Info, Etc.

In the last week I've received multiple inquiries regarding the release date of Alpha Mine. Initially, I tried to respond. Then, without knowing how to respond, I directed readers to Ellora's Cave. For those who have been told to talk to me regarding the release day: Truthfully, I do not know when the book will release.

First and foremost: I apologize for the delay. The book is still in the editing process. When I receive word on the status, I will let you know. After a novel is turned in, the manuscript is in the hands of editors and the publisher. You can email Ellora's Cave but, as I've learned, they will redirect you to me for information. I can only tell you what I know: I have no release date information and no idea of the status on edits. Therefore I can't share a release date.

I am truly sorry.

In other news: Moon Kissed is available for pre-order. CLICK HERE to redirect to Amazon (the book is on pre-order for all Amazon vendors if you're interested -- I have the UK link on my website). I will update when the book is revealed on the Samhain website. I've returned to the series for a substantial rewrite. The second (still untitled novella) is halfway completed. The third is being written as we speak.

Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between releases at Samhain on November 4th (no pre-order yet).

[image error]The Renfield Syndrome will release in February 2015. Future stories (including The Ripple Effect and Edge of Darkness) will release every three to six months.

I'm sorry this is the only information I have.

I am working on other projects (Desires of the Otherworld, a new UF series, a new YA series, and a new sci-fi erotic romance series I'm very excited about) for self-publication. This is new to me, but I can write at my own pace and, hopefully, release more stories (at a lower cost) per year.

The best way to keep up to date on release/blurb/cover/information is to...

Join my Facebook Author/Fan Page. This is a good venue but, as a warning, I have to pay for "boosts" so readers can see updates. I apologize. This means you might have to check in on the page to see things if I'm not willing to pay money to boost posts.

My Twitter feeds: J.A. SAARE and ALINE HUNTER

Receive my newsletter by emailing jasaare at gmail dot com and asking to be included.

Or continue checking here. When I have solid confirmation on dates and such, I will post.

I'm trying to figure out a new way to communicate with fans. Within the next few months a forum will be established where I can communicate directly with readers. I plan to write vignettes (and share scenes that were cut from previous novels).

Make Me Surrender is almost complete. The second installment in the Make Me series is much longer (it will be at least 75k words, possibly more).  Edge of Darkness is also underway. I'm revising Crimson Sunrise and have started work on Crimson Sunset. I'll have news on release dates, cover art, snippets, etc, soon.

In regard to conferences...

I will be in New Orleans for RT in May. However...I didn't realize RT was taking place at the same time I'll be in town. So while you're exploring the area you "might" bump into me. If so, please feel free to say hello! I'd be glad to chat. That being said, I'm not officially taking part in RT.

I'll update again soon. I'm taking a trip to see my beloved nephew Colton in the morning. He's growing so fast. Here's a picture of our visit today. I'm making a face because I was blowing strawberries to get his attention. He is SO amazingly adorable!

Happy reading and much love and best wishes to you all! I will update as soon as I receive word on release dates. Newsletters haven't rolled out (yet) as I'd hoped to include the Alpha Mine with my other upcoming releases.

Spring is in full swing! Bring on the summer!

Xoxoxo~

Alpha & Omega on Audio

A bit of news! Omega Mine, Enemy Mine, and Vampire Mine are now available on Audio. I've included links below. For those who've asked: I'm not sure if/when other books will be available in this format. I'll update if/when I receive word.

So for those who wanted the books on audio, here you go!  You can also find the links on Amazon.com

Omega Mine

Enemy Mine

Vampire Mine

I did the first round of edits on Alpha Mine (second half of Trey and Sadie's story). It's complete at approximately 87k words. I'll update when I get a release date. I'm wrapping up Make Me Surrender and am working on Crimson Sunset. As a warning: Crimson Sunrise will be pulled from vendors soon. The rights have reverted to me but I have to wait a certain period of time before I re-release the story. The plan is to release Crimson Sunset within three months of Crimson Sunrise's re-release.

Cover art for The Renfield Syndrome is coming soon! I can't wait to share the cover with all of you. My cover artist is amazing.

I think that's it for now. Hope you're all doing well!

Firsts by Rosalie Stanton (Contest)

**To celebrate the re-release of Firsts (which is far superior to the original -- see post below for details), I'm holding a contest. Information is listed at the end of this post.**

I saw this book on Amazon a few years ago. Since I love a "friends to lovers" romance (especially of the erotic variety), I purchased a copy. I couldn't put the book down. I started late at night and refused to put it down until I finished. Afterward, I contacted the author, Rosalie Stanton , and told her how much I loved her work.

As time passed, we've kept in touch. She told me she was revising the story, and I begged her to send me a copy of the new version after she finished the manuscript. She did, and I spent an entire day on my Kindle.

*Happy Sigh*

You get more from each character and learn so much about Savannah and Thorn. If you enjoy New Adult with a mixture of erotic romance, Firsts is full of win. You can't go wrong. Since it's only .99 cents at the moment, it won't break the bank. I've stopped doing cover quotes but happily (and readily) did so when I was asked to provide one to for this story. That's how much I adore the characters.

Here's the blurb:

The past year has been hell on Savannah. Not only did her boyfriend dump her on the side of the road—literally—but her best friend, Wes, decided to graduate early. The person he becomes in college is even more confusing, and no matter what she tells herself, she can’t get over the thought of another girl having a piece of him that she’ll never have.

Wes has been in love with Savannah since childhood. Trouble is, she’s never seen him as anything more than a friend, and he’s never been brave enough to push those boundaries. He views college as an opportunity to finally move on. However, their continued close relationship makes moving on difficult, especially since Savannah has no idea she broke his heart.

With her own graduation day approaching, Savannah decides she doesn’t want to be a virgin when she gets to college. Turning to Wes to solve this problem seems sensible. After all, she trusts him more than anyone. Only she isn’t prepared for what her request unleashes—either from him, or in herself.

Want to win a copy of Firsts (signed by the author in print)? Here's how.

**Comment on this BLOG POST (bolded and embedded so you can enter if you see this via Facebook, Twitter, or Goodreads -- the comment must be here in order to enter) with your email added in order to achieve contact with me. Contest starts today and ends March 14th. I will email the winner for shipping information on the following day. Contest is international. If I don't receive an email response after 24 hours, I will use Random.org to choose another winner. If I don't receive a response I'll work my way down the line via the same method. Good luck and happy reading!**

Cover Reveals & Blurbs

I received the cover art for Alpha Mine today and wanted to share. This installment isn't going to be #3.5 as I thought but #4 (since it's 87k and full length, EC considers it the next book in the series). There's more Trey and Sadie (as requested) and their story comes to a conclusion. It's longer than Vampire Mine and I made sure there's more heat for Trey and Sadie fans.

Next on the menu is Make Me Surrender. I'm halfway done with the novel. It'll be longer than Make Me Shiver and I hope readers enjoy it. Afterward I'll be working on Sought. I've been tinkering with Edge of Darkness and a new UF series. So those will be written soon. I also signed a contract with Samhain and received the cover art for Moon Kissed.

You can always check my website for updates or visit my Facebook which I update each week:

Facebook

I'll leave you with the blurbs for Moon Kissed and Alpha Mine. In case you missed it, the Moon Kissed cover is below.

Moon Kissed Blurb (July 2014):

Wolfe Trevlian never thought he’d return to New Orleans. Bitter memories linger in the Big Easy, reminding him of things he can never change. So when his cousin, Adam, contacts him for assistance in pack matters, Wolfe reluctantly agrees to make his way back home. His instructions sound easy—initiate a truce with the pack’s enemies by killing off a local pest and keep an eye on things while Adam takes care of personal matters—but he soon discovers his target isn’t what he expects.

Arden Moran is intelligent, captivating and sexy as hell. To complicate matters she’s also a vampire and an assassin for hire. Since Wolfe can’t kill her he decides to offer her his protection. He’s stunned when she doesn’t reciprocate his affections, fills his hide full of silver and warns him she’ll kill him if he doesn’t leave her alone.

Never one to back down from a challenge, Wolfe decides to up the ante. Before he can claim Arden, he has to save her life. Which is easier said than done since his mate has pissed off almost every supernatural creature in the world and has a price on her head.

Alpha Mine Blurb (Coming Soon):

A mating like no other...

Until other dangers arise—ones that could harm humans and immortals alike—and he has to allow her to assist him when things take a turn for the worst. To destroy their enemies, they’ll have to stand together. Even if it means risking everything, including each other.

Thanks again for all the support. From my family to yours -- happy holidays!

Giveaway Galore!!!

When Joey W. Hill asked me to take part in a release giveaway, I couldn't say no (duh, it's Joey Hill!). There are many (the event started today) who are offering freebies. I have my own as well. My time and date is December 12th at 10:45--12:30). During that time I will answer any and and all questions you might have and several characters have agreed to attend to answer questions as well. So if you want to know about certain characters, this is the time to ask important questions.

*Psst* I have it on good authority that Disco and Rhiannon (despite being in a pinch) will be there too.

So...

If you'e interested, like Joey's FB page and join in on the fun! I should state Aline Hunter and J.A. Saare characters will be in attendance.

I'm thrilled to take part. There are two prizes and a third I haven't announced yet (participation for the event is key).

My FB Author Page Link

As a warning: Answers and prizes will be during my time (10:45am - 12:30pm). I apologize if that doesn't work for you. There are many authors attending and this is my slot. A couple of print books will be prizes and, of course, the one no one knows about (yet).

I hope to see you there! Thanks again for all the support!

Dark Hunger on a Killing Moon

Hello, all! I wanted to update and let you know what's going on. First and foremost: Dark Hunger on a Killing Moon (formerly released as Darkest Hunger) will re-release on December 9th. It's actual a prequel (transpires that same time as Eternity and a Day , which is the first book in the Desires of the Otherworld series). It can be read as a standalone but reading Eternity and a Day might be best to get the most of the story. That's why Eternity and a Day will be substantially discounted on Amazon.com the week of release.

You can get both books without breaking the bank.

For those who've read the series and want more I'm happy to announce I'll be starting the third book in the Desires of the Otherworld series next year ( Wicked Deeds at Night's End ). I'm excited to dive back into the world and give you the books you've asked for. I can't wait to revisit the characters.

As for other release news...

I'm working on Crimson Sunset. Rights for the second book, Crimson Sunrise , won't revert to me until next year. I want to revisit the story and add to it. I'm also writing Edge of Darkness (Rhiannon's Law #4). Right now Rhiannon is under consideration by a publisher(s). If things go well, the series will be revised and re-released. I wanted to give Rhiannon the biggest visibility boost possible, so she's under the submission process. I could have self-published (and considered it) but felt this was the best way to re-release the series if at all possible.

Other things...

I'll wrap up Alpha Mine (Alpha and Omega 3.5) in a few days. This story is as long as Vampire Mine -- perhaps will be longer (and continues Trey and Sadie's story). Once done, the book will go to my editor. I will share release information as I receive it. Afterward, I'll wrap up Make Me Surrender (it's almost halfway completed) and will start Sought and Twisted in Knots .

My goal for 2104 is to release six books (if not more). I have a schedule and have remained on task. I know you want certain books and want to do my best to get them to you. While J.A. Saare books appear to be on the back burner, I have written more on a new UF series I'd like to sell, as well as other projects. My hope is to have more of work in that genre available for you soon.

If you'd like to read snippets and keep up to date, my Facebook Author Page is updated regularly: I do have a street team, but it's full. If you'd like to be on the waiting list, you can email me (jasaare @ gmail dot com) and I can tell my admins.

CLICK HERE TO REDIRECT TO FB AUTHOR PAGE

The stories you've been waiting for are coming. No worries. There also new ventures on the horizon (Moon Kissed -- no, it's not what you think -- the old series has been substantially revised and changed for release) I can't wait to share with you! Again, I appreciate all of the support, emails, etc, I receive daily. If not for you, I couldn't do what I do for a living. My readers are truly the best. Thank you!

I hope you have an amazing holiday weekend. :-)

Contest Giveaway: Marked

I wanted to drop in and let everyone know a copy of Marked (signed, in print) is up for grabs on my Facebook Page (contest is international). I'm not sure when print copies will be available for purchase, so this giveaway is rather nice. The copies I have were printed entirely for Romanticon, so I made sure to get a couple of extras to take home with me.

If you're interested, head on over and say hello. I'll be back soon with an update on writing progress, as well as contract news the beginning of next month.
