Ray Tabler is a retired chemical engineer who started writing around 2000. Born and raised in Kentucky, he chased the northbound dollar to Michigan and forgot the way home. Just as well. Ray's wife worries about him when he's out wandering after dark...So does Ray, for that matter.
Ray's books are best described as light space opera. (Starship Troopers, hijacked by Monty Python. Or Gilbert and Sullivan, bankrolled and unduly influenced by Flo Ziegfeld.) So, if you'd like some science fiction you can enjoy, crack open one of Ray's novels and come along for the ride.

Signed Books at the ALA

Was signing copies of A Grand Imperial War at the American Library Association annual conference on Sunday. Pleasantly surprised to find actual, factual fans waiting in line for me before the start time. Thank you. That means a lot. Also surprised to learn that publishers attending the ALA will literally shove free books into the hands of passing librarians, in hopes that they will go home and ord Read more of this blog post »
