It fixes ALL the weird coding problems created when you combine files in LibreOffice if you use Insert: Text from File instead of copy/pasting text.

Ditto with combing PDFs—highlight files, right click, and choose Quick Actions: Make PDF.

I’ve been working away, but not actually updating this thing. I think I’m going to move it off the site navigation and just stop updating it, at least for the time being—I can highlight new releases on the home page, and links to posts should still work.

Amazon is raising its print prices June 20, which means authors have to raise their prices or not list their print books there anymore. It depends a bit on the book, but with some I’m going to have to jack up the price by $5, which seems like a lot to me. E-book prices aren’t affected, but if for some reason you’ve been thinking about buying a hard copy from me or any other indie writer, I’d certainly recommend doing it before June 20!

Not been updating this much, have I? Well, I suppose if I don’t need it as a motivational tool, then…

Anyway! I have been chugging along on the various books.

-I have laid out Book 1, done an edit, and input the corrections

-I have gone through the beta read on Book 2, so I will incorporate those and start laying that one out

-I have finished edits on Book 3 and given the book to the beta reader

Whew!

I’ve edited through Chapter 12 of the Book 3 printout—made edits and input them. Yay!

A lot’s going on, so I haven’t been updating as I should, but Book 1 has been laid out. Yay!

I’ve laid out the first 11 chapters of Book 1, and I’ve gone through the first five chapters of the Book 3 printout—mixing things up here, but also the hope is that by giving myself a bit of a break, I’ll look at Book 3 with fresh eyes.

I’ve started laying out the first book—done through chapter 5!

ETA: I forgot to note this, but I did write the epilogue for book 4. Whoo!

I finished this editing pass of Book 4—I still have to write the epilogue for it, but I’ll wait on that until tomorrow.

Starting editing Book 4! Five chapters done! Whoo!
