007 Objective I

This is a compilation of some of my original quotations and aphorisms. I do understand that a great number of individuals are often too preoccupied to sit and read books or long essays, and because I enjoy quotations and archiving things, I am using this post to build a collection of aphorisms that I find useful in summarizing much of my writing. Usually, I cannot just voluntarily sit down in deep thought and begin writing nor would I want to. Nearly everything that comes together, comes togethe...

Healology

"There is this difference between the growth of some human beings and that of others: in the one case it is a continuous dying, in the other a continuous resurrection." ~George MacDonald

You may have heard of the portmanteau "killosophy", which is also the name of my previous book released in 2015; but here and now, in 2016, it is marked: the birth-year of my latest work and book number five, Healology. Philosophy and theology, as one might think, are 2 of my favorite subjects; symbolically, I...

"Is Satan misunderstood?"

Many good people throughout history were misunderstood; it is sometimes even considered a mark of greatness. Could one also apply this to Satan? As, in Christ, we are moved to love our enemies (Matthew 5:44), I do not doubt that any Christian thinker, theologian, or apologist has at some point asked (or been asked), "What if Satan is actually a good guy but just misunderstood?" But perhaps God responded, "What if? Would that really matter?" With this I concur - a question on that caliber may...

Killosophy

My latest work and book number four, Killosophy, is now published. This one deviated from my original trilogy of poetry books (Diotima, Battery, Electric Personality, Venus in Arms, and Salomé: In Every Inch In Every Mile) in that it consists of 2 different parts, "Killing Knowledge" and "Loving Wisdom".

"Killing Knowledge" is a book of aphorisms which stretch across countless subjects, ranging from apologetics to love, war and conflicts, relationships and humility, art and music, religion/spi...

Skepticism's Compassionate yet Faithless Worries (e.g. "What happens to babies, children, and the mentally ill who suffer and die?")

While of course, it is in no man's authority to make that judgment, being "the big one", the one where we discern who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell, we must rely on God's omniscience, his infinite wisdom to at least remotely grasp some sensible apologetics for this inevitable question. If we believe that God is indeed a good God, then we must also believe that he possesses a perfect and holy judgment parallel to that goodness.

Now first of all, I want to note that oftentimes, leaning on...

Diotima, Battery, Electric Personality

At last, my third and now personal favorite book of poetry and philosophy, Diotima, Battery, Electric Personality, is complete and published. After reflecting on all three books, the other two being Salomé: In Every Inch In Every Mile and Venus in Arms, it appears that the installment of Diotima completed a sort of subtle trilogy. Salomé was my 1st published book, released in 2011, Venus in Arms my 2nd, released in 2012, and Diotima my 3rd, released in 2013.

I am also quite pleased with the na...

Burning Thoughts and Flooding Ideas

Burning Thoughts and Flooding Ideas, released in early 2013, is my third anthology collaboration with comrade and fellow author Luke Wood as well as several other young authors. Each time he has been the frontman in compiling the anthologies and bringing them to life, and out of the 3, the other 2 being Yesterday and Tomorrow (2011) and More than a Million Words (2012), this one is most definitely my favorite. Thoughts are like burning stars, and ideas, they flood, they stretch the universe....

Killosopher Apparel

I am probably known by most as the essayist, poet, and philosopher; however, in my passion for art and creativity, I recently established a new clothing and merchandise store named Killosopher Apparel. I have not only written but also for years competed in various activities under the facetious pseudonym TheKillosopher, so I feel it inevitable that a new chain of designs, a generally accessible manifestation based around that personification, is finally unfolding. In this post are images of s...

More than a Million Words

I am well aware that this briefing regarding the anthology, More than a Million Words, is long overdo, but recently, after reading the book myself, I was then more impelled to share a word on it. The anthology features several young authors, both poets and short story writers, originally compiled by author Luke Wood. It includes 7 of my works that, prior to the release of the anthology, also appeared in Venus in Arms (2012): A Wry Face, Aesthetically Appealing, Film Noir (Trade Some Resistanc...
