I wasn’t angry at you. I was angry at myself. All my life I’ve had everything easy. I never expected to be completely taken over by you.”
She watched as he rummaged through his pockets. He pulled out a ring, took a deep breath, and presented it to her.
“Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”
