David Conte spent most of his life in his native Boston area, but then one day found himself living in Frankfurt, Germany, in the fortunate company of a lovely Berliner. His experience as an expatriate inspired him to write a book, The Frankfurt Files: Tales of an American in Germany. His work can be found in Defenestration Magazine, Lothlorien Poetry Journal, and on Medium humor publications such as MuddyUm.
