Paranormal EROTIC Anthology short story contest
Here we are again! Yet ANOTHER contest! But isnt this fun? I am super excited to be able to do these for all of you and to be able to help you publish something. As I've said before - even if you are already published - the more you get your name out there and the more work to show off (especially short work since most humans typically have a short attention span) the more fans you will get and what does that mean? A better chance at making this your career instead of just a hobby or something you've been fighting with for years. ;) We are ALL in that boat - so lets try to row it together and see where we end up huh?
Without further delay - here are the rules and submission guidelines for the Erotic short story contest.
1. All submissions must be 5,000 to 8,000 words in length.
2. All submissions must be sent to the fan page email (theeternalseries@hotmail.com).
3. The DEADLINE for all submissions is December 31, 2011.
Setting Rules
1. This is a PARANORMAL EROTIC short story contest. That means
A: It MUST contain one or more of the following: Vamps, Weres, Demons, Ghosts, Goblins, Faeries, etc.
B: It MUST be EROTIC. That means - bring on the HOTTNESS. No "romance" stories. Just get down and dirty
Ex: Vampire goes to a secluded bar, seduces a woman into going for a walk in the woods with him, he bites her and pins her to a tree and has his way with her and gives her the ride of her life. LOL! That kind of thing!
2. There is nothing off limits - M/M, F/F, M/F, threesomes, whatever. It's all good. Just make it tasteful and of course - NO rape.
3. Since this is going to be released for the Valentines Day holiday - It should be Spring in setting. Blossoming flowers and leaves returning to the trees. Whatever way you want to write it. This way your setting is crisp and sharp and you can hear and smell things while reading. The more sensations thrown into writing the better! Yes - I realize (at least where I'm from) Valentines Day is in Winter. lol. But we used winter for the Horror Anthology and I think Spring brings on sexy. ;)
Payment Info
1. Everyone who is chosen will receive A physical copy as well as an E-copy of the book as payment.
2. Those who are chosen will ALSO receive a discount code they can use to order copies of the book at a discounted price that is close to publication costs. This will benefit those who have other publications out and is planning on using them for book signings and things of that nature.
These are the only rules I can think of at the moment. I will amend them if I think something else is needed. Happy Writing and I hope everyone who can will definitely participate! :D

Paranormal Horror Anthology!
Going to do a paranormal holiday horror anthology. Why? Because it would be fun and different to do! If your interested here are the rules.
1. Email the story to theeternalseries@hotmail.com. Put "paranormal anthology" and the title in the subject.
2. Send attachments - please don't copy and paste your story in the body. It gets jumbled and hard to read.
3. Deadline is November 14. That may be e...xtended, but right now, November 14.
4. You may send multiple submissions but send them in separate emails. If I like more than one, I'll use more than one! :)
5. MUST contain ghosts, zombies, vampires, werewolves, demons, goblins, etc to be considered. Also must be "wintery" in season. It can revolve around a holiday if you wish but as long as it's the winter season that's all I care about.
6. Must be 5,000-8,000 words in length.
7. For submission it doesn't need to be edited perfectly but get it as close as possible so it's easier for me to edit later. ;)
8. Use typical formatting. As long as it's easy to read. Double spaced please.
9. This is an indie project so it will be published through createspace and I will cover costs myself. So other than the story, you will not have any other requirements. Anyone whose story is chosen will receive 2 copies of the novel as payment as well as a discount code/password to be able to purchase copies at the cost of publication. So you will share rights to your story with me so i can publish your work. Your name will obviously be on your story in the novel and will be credited properly. This will come in handy when getting your name out there.
10. As an afterthought - please refrain from using offensive religious material, politics, and rape is also a BIG no-no.

For those who are considering this remember - as an indie writer- in the beginning - it's not about how much money you make. It's getting your name out there. Thats why I'm doing this. It's a quick project because of the cooperation and help from other writers and it gets a name out there. If you were looking for something to do for November for the sacred novel writing month - this is it. It will be completed in November and published in early - mid december in time for the holidays I am hoping. So PLEASE check this out and please consider it. I'd love to have you. If we have a lot of submissions - no - I cannot guarantee you a spot but that is not to say you wont get a spot in another contest. So keep your head up and I will keep you informed! Thank you all SO much!
