Baby pictures
Did I start taking pictures of Edmund the moment he was born because I thought I would make his life into a book? NO! I took his pictures because he was this sweet adorable baby I fell in love with the moment I saw him. As it became apparent he was a “special needs” child, I took so many pictures because I didn't know how long I would have him. He was delicate, and I could lose him in the blink of an eye. I have always taken pictures of my babies, and he soon became my “youngest child,” wrapped in a pink baby blanket and needing his warmed bottle of milk. I wondered if I was taking pictures of a doomed baby kitten, so I would have something to remember him by. He grew and thrived, in spite of his handicaps, and I just kept taking pictures. By the time he was two months old, I felt safe in thinking that he would grow up to be an adult cat, but I just kept taking pictures because he was so cute. He did so many things I have never seen a cat do. He could stand up, He communicated just like a person. He liked to ride around on my shoulders. So I just kept taking pictures. The camera loved him. I loved him.
