Life After Debuting: All the Feels & Lessons Learned

So as of August 27, 2024, I am finally a published author and Oceansong now belongs to the readers. I’ve never been happier, more grateful, or more mentally (and physically) exhausted throughout this whole journey, but being able to hold my book baby in my hands is an indescribable feeling. It’s been a long, winding journey. And I know there’s still so much more to do, like start pitching bookstores. And I definitely needed a break after promoting pre-launch, and for my release party, which was on August 29 on The Baylander Steel Beach in West Harlem, NYC. Other than my microphone not working as well as I wanted (tech difficulties are the worst, am I right?) I had a wonderful time celebrating with my friends and family, and people who I hadn’t met until that day.
