Raz Mihal Author Interview On 17, Feb 2025 - Allauthor.com

In a recent interview with AllAuthor, I explored the deeper themes behind Just Love Her, my journey into divine love, and the role of solitude in my life. Writing has been my way of bridging the space between stillness and connection, sharing what cannot always be expressed in direct conversation.
One of the most thought-provoking questions was about my lifestyle—whether I consider myself a modern hermit. I wouldn’t call it hermitism, but rather a deep appreciation for solitude. Stillness allows me to connect with the essence of love beyond words or societal expectations. Observing the world from a distance has shown me that love is not just an emotion but the underlying source of everything. Love is not something to chase; it is ever-present, waiting to be remembered. As I shared in the interview:
“Love is not something to seek; it is something to remember—always present within our souls.”
My journey into exploring divine love was not a sudden revelation but a continuous unfolding—an inner calling that whispered throughout my life. One of the pivotal moments came decades ago, during deep meditation in the woods, when I realised that love is not something separate from us; it is the fabric of our existence. It transcends possession, expectation, and even the human need for reciprocation. At that moment, I reversed the old saying “God is love” and saw instead that “Love is God.”
“Divine love is not transactional or reliant on external validation—it simply is.”
Writing Just Love Her was both a gift and a challenge. How does one put the inexpressible into words? Love, in its divine essence, is something to be felt rather than described. Instead of forcing definitions, I allowed the feeling itself to shape the words, trusting that the essence would emerge naturally through the spaces between the lines.
“If not through words, how else can one at least offer a glimpse of love’s greatness?”
Another question that resonated deeply was how to balance living beyond societal boundaries while remaining connected to the world. I used to withdraw entirely, seeking refuge in monasteries and forests, believing separation was the answer. But divine love revealed itself not as something separate from the world but as its very essence. Now, I embrace solitude and connection, recognising that love exists in all things, and my words serve as a bridge between those two realms.
“Love itself is the balance—remaining open to the world while honouring the quiet space where true awareness deepens.”
For readers struggling to connect with the concept of love beyond the physical and emotional, my advice is simple: stop searching. Love is not something to be grasped but felt when the mind becomes still. We often treat love as a fleeting emotion, but it is far more significant—the source of existence itself.
“Don’t force understanding—just feel. Love is not something the mind can fully grasp; it’s something the heart already knows.”
What’s next? I am revisiting Hearts of Love, a book I wrote 25 years ago, bringing it into a new light. This time, I aim to make it more accessible than Just Love Her while preserving its depth. Additionally, I have been working on Divine Love, which will likely be the last book where I explore this theme directly. Beyond that, I am excited to venture into new literary realms, blending spirituality with science fiction and philosophical fiction.
“Only divine love knows… perhaps the next book is already waiting to be written, whispering in the silence.”
To those who have walked this journey with me, whether through reading Just Love Her or simply pausing for a moment to reflect on love’s presence in their lives—thank you. May these words serve as reminders, not of something new, but of what has always been within you.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to explore Just Love Her and join the conversation. Let’s awaken to love together.
