Liam Davis & The Raven - Out Now :D

Liam Davis & The Raven is out!

What an awesome journey it was to write this book. I had so much fun learning about Liam and all his idiosyncrasies, and also discovering through his eyes the path to success, not just in his burgeoning career, but his success in life: in relationships both romantic and platonic.

The story was also quite emotional writing at times, because it reminded me of all the good times I had while I was living in Pittsburgh. Ah, Pittsburgh, what an awesome city you are. Thank you for being home to me for two years, I'll always remember it!

Mostly though, it was fun. These boys had me grinning like crazy from ear-to-ear.

I'm excited to be able to share their story.

To make the novel happen, though, took teamwork. And I was/am privileged to work with such a talented and dedicated team.

Thank you to:

Vicki for beta-ing and offering her valuable thoughts, and Sunne for being one of the first to read through and offer your awesome input!
Caroline Wimmer for the amazing cover art! I love how this so wonderfully captures the tone of the book and it's setting.
Teresa Crawford for developing the story and discussing how best to shape the direction of the novel.
Lynda Lamb for keeping me sane while I took so long to get this one ready, and then for going through and catching all my nasty spelling and formatting errors.
Heather at HJS Editing  for such wonderful and thorough copyediting and making my characters actually sound American.

I can't thank and recommend you all enough!

Also, check out Scribe, Liam's campus magazine. :)

My Pittsburgh Top 5 . . .

Guest Post at The Land of Make Believe . . .

The top 5 best things about my time in Pittsburgh . . .

1)
Number one, clearly, by far, was having the chance to meet my [then only] online friend and co-author Andrew Q. Gordon. Hey Andy! Thanks for all the great times we had together—I feel so privileged to have met you and your beautiful family.
Pittsburg made that possible—it’s only a four-hour drive to DC. Well, okay, with me driving it was closer to five, but still. ;) Driving into DC wasn’t one of my most treasured driving experiences, though. Cars were crossing lanes not just from the left but the right as well! Chaos. But at least there I didn’t take a wrong turn and end up in an Amish village somewhere rural Pennsylvania! **Whistles** I blame it on the GPS.
