" Robbie Thomas' book "Time Shift The Paradigm" is an astounding roller-coaster ride through an exciting world that I walk away feeling personally invested in. Robbie takes a very cerebral approach to writing that informs with legitimate fact and current research while keeping the action extremely exciting pulling you more into the world he writes about. Time Shift, is written in a way that you become immersed in the story. You understand the motives and thoughts of the characters, you start to care and worry about them. It becomes so easy to relate to with the inclusion of fact and current theories that you can visualize yourself involved with the story. But just when you start to understand what's happening... *WHAM!*... there's another curve ball that takes you down another exciting path full of science, twists, turns, reality and surreal moments of unexplained phenomena and so much more!
This is a book that is extremely hard to put down! Part of me knows it's fiction, but then again, frequently you're left thinking about the possibility of....I just can't give it away! You must read this to understand. When one chapter ends you drive to know what happens next. Robbies' writing brings surreal phenomena to a level that makes you think it could be an extreme possibility in reality. I'm thoroughly excited to review this book for Robbie Thomas and I eagerly anticipate more great writings!"
Side Note:
All that aside, I've one specific scene that's still haunting me from last night. The part between Zebra Station and the #2 Pod I believe...That writing's so exciting I'm heavily reminded of The Airport Scene in Stephen Kings The Langoliers. The reason I make that comparison, it's absolutely one of my favorite books and it was represented well in movie form. I make this coloration because it's EXTREMELY Easy to see this book in movie form and I'd be extremely excited to hear that as a possibility too!

I love that when Robbie writes a book, it puts you right into the story and right into the minds of the characters.
You really feel like you are there with them as their journey into the paranormal becomes all to real and all to terrifying for them.
If you love horror and the paranormal then you need to get a copy of Parasylum. Then go sit in your favorite chair, in a darkened room, with a dimly lit lamp and prepare to be thoroughly spooked.
I can't wait to see what Robbie Thomas come up with next? Well done.

After the surprise ending in the first Parasylum installment you would think a whole new cast of characters would be on this investigation. But you would be wrong. The team of five is back in full force on what could be the one to go down in their records as the investigation that almost ended their lives.
From the moment the team sets foot in the Rendezvous Hotel, they are confronted with threats by the ghosts of mobsters from the 1920s looking to add more victims to their stockpile. With each floor they investigate, the walls seem to come alive with demons and monsters, and situations that will have the team questioning their sanity.
Throw in a rogue team of investigators and the haunting ramps up to an even horrific level, causing them all to start running for their lives in search of escape from the Rendezvous Hotel.
Any horror aficionado will crawl inside this book wanting to take part in the terrifying action. Thomas, a psychic and avid paranormal investigator, knows the terror of an active investigation. As a result, he is able to transfer the fear into words that most definitely rival Steven King, the reigning master of horror.
The devil is in the details and Thomas has done his homework. He brings all the elements of investigation to his readers in the form of equipment and terminology. He continued development of his characters that enables readers to make a connection, which inevitably draws them further into the story.
Bottom line; if you are looking for a horror story that will have you turning on all the lights, checking under the furniture and making sure the doors are all locked, this is the book for you. Pull up your big boy panties and be prepared for the scare of your lives. This one is a killer.

I write about an area just outside of Moscow as both presidents (from the United States and Russia speak on the phone). Look how the last few letters of the town names spelled. Coincidence, I really don’t think so. Time Shift The Paradigm, is this book trying to tell us something?

A Query For Authors!
I've had the opportunity to have a converstaion with several Authors on this topic and it's suprising what is going on.
Kindle downloads of hard working Authors, who put so much time creating, inventing and publishing great bodies of literature, are actually on loan through their return policy. Let’s face it, Kindle allows the reader an opportunity to read at times, 10%-20% of a book before purchasing that work. Talk about taking it out for a “test run!” On top of this, they (the reader) have a return policy of seven (7) days to take advantage of and can turn around after reading the remaining portion of the book, returning it for a full refund. Oh yes, there’s many who do this and are habitual repeat offenders of this use and abuse policy. Is this fair to the Author? The Author chooses to allow a percentage of his/her work to be viewed, which again, at times is a huge portion of the book to begin with. Now, the test run of a preview and again, sometimes it varies on the size of the book, it seems fitting that if, a reader takes the time to explore the work, like what they’ve read, then purchases it…the deal is done! You would think it should be a final sale? Would you agree? Another factor to take into consideration is, these downloads aren’t breaking anyone’s wallet, as most are just a few dollars at best. Do you feel Kindle should remove their return policy after given all the factors going into a purchase as said above, or do you feel what they have, is a proper way of doing business?
